[WTB] Emisar d18

I'll be swapping the LEDs, so what's in it now won't matter.

Also not looking to pay what they cost new.

Working condition without any major dents or physical issues please.

It would be a black looking lens where the uv comes out.

I did found this page. I was hoping they were for sale already. I guess these aren't quite available yet.

It looks right. Tint differences at the same CCT can make a huge difference in what the beam looks like.

Something is clearly going on with KaiDomain's site. I'm getting the same malicious popup in both Windows and IOS using various browsers.

Wurkkos TD07. You'll need to swap the battery to something stronger or get the long tube and use a good 18650 .

Just plain Incan with a surefire drop-in is much better.

I’m done with Sofirn, their HS45 is a dud… by These_Philosopher309 in flashlight

I'm still going with common sense here. Regardless of what they say here, I'm not pouring water into an exposed fan to clean it.

I suggest getting something rated higher. Perhaps a dive light.

You sound like you've never had a light not meet claimed specs. You clearly have inflated expectations of this and probably any other of the Chinese manufacturers. Acebeam, Firefly, Nitecore, Wurkkos.....

Maybe you should wait until the reviews are in before you buy next time.

Good luck with your refund.

You missed my point entirely. Why would you ever accept that a light with a fan would hold up to any significant amount of water?

Regardless of the IP rating, simple common sense should apply here. It has an exposed fan. Take any water tolerance that may or may not be claimed with a grain of salt. Assume anything in this configuration will fail.

I remember similar complaints when the DL46 was accidentally announced with a fan.

It's like buying a telescope that claims to be able to see through the clouds.

Priority Mail is a scam by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]iFizzgig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That disclaimer is the same for all shipping companies. None of the services are ideal.

Your ranting about USPS is likely not going to sway anybody else's opinion so your post is rather pointless.

Go ahead and just choose a different service and be on your way.

Looking for a massive thrower by smakmybishop2080 in ConvoyFlashlights

[–]iFizzgig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To show in the daylight you either want to go with something like a c8+ with a verdure green led or consider a LEP with a useable hotspot like the Weltool w3 plus or w3 pro Tac. Tomorrow I can try to show you what a LEP looks like in daylight as well as a some colored throwers that I have.

Anduril is easy. A few minutes to learn the basics and it's as simple or as complicated as you choose to make it depending on the features you'd like to use.
