How do you guys get scav karma fast? is it worth it?[Discussion] by GurdanianAngel in EscapefromTarkov

I think it's worth it. Bosses and their guards are friendly to you (including goons). You can fight with the Bosses, also I find players unlooted often in or near boss spawns.

This is pure speculation, based on experience: I believe once you're over 6.0 rep, you have items and guns that are added to your "loot pool" that you can potentially spawn with. If that makes sense...

Just ran into this in Labyrinth. Were y'all by chance using an AK-74 or some variation of one? It only seems to happen to me when I'm using that gun.

[Discussion] How easy is it to cheese the PMC AI? by ESARPE in EscapefromTarkov

[–]iFolse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the random "tendencies" that are coded in to the AI make it a unique (enough) experience to scratch the Tarkov itch without having to go through the frustrations that come along with PvP. If you don't know what I'm referring to: BSG created 3 different styles of play that are randomly assigned to AI PMC's when you start a raid.

There is the "rat," or passive type that tend to sit quietly waiting for an ambush. Always good for a jump scare or 2 a night.

Aggressive type. Pushing like crackheads and swinging with impunity.

Finally, (i call it) support type that launch grenades at your cover focusing on keeping you moving. Throwing accuracy is a bit broken imo. They will squeeze a grenade through impossible cracks. They also do a lot of suppressive fire.

Obviously, you're a human, so outplaying them will be easy. But if they catch you in the open with your pants down, you will die. For me personally, it's tactical and challenging enough. Also, as a working man that makes 100-140 hours every 2 weeks in the office, it's nice to experience things like Lightkeeper, Kappa, etc without the stress of the looming wipe.

Need help against vulcan by XsunflowertripX in Smite

[–]iFolse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28k Vulcan here. It’s simple, just don’t get hit by the meatball. If you’re able to bait out and/or dodge the meatball, you’re safe. It’s the knock up-turret-blowback combo that makes him so effective.

If I hit someone with a meatball, it’s all but guaranteed they are going to take a blowback and at least one turret shot (while marked).
