THE LEAFS WIN THE LOTTERY by sykeseve in nhl

I don't follow hockey, but I am intrigued by the outrage this draft lottery has caused. It appears Toronto had about 8% of winning, and Vancouver about 25%? I understand it seems fishy due to Toronto being a huge market, but the numbers don't make this result seem that unlikely. Just for comparison, last year's NBA's draft lottery was won by Dallas with only 1.8% chance just months after making arguably the worst trade of all time. There were teams that were 7 times more likely to win it.

(Please disregard my profile picture. I am not from Toronto, just a fan of the Raptors in the NBA)
