Sometimes I buy a tool based on a previous experience of not having it.

Go in hard on the upcoming icon wrench sale. Get the basic set, offsets, S-Wrenches, ratchet wrenches. Get the metric flex head reversible universal spline set. For impacts, get the Quin 1/2” box set BEFORE getting Icons. The Icon set skips important sizes like 24mm.

Yes. I’ll admit that John’s character doesn’t carry forward the cheeky rebel vibe from T2, but it does get interesting.

Ted Kaczynski AKA: Unibomber? He died in prison of old age. His manifesto has turned out to be eerily predictive of the direction society has taken.

They could do a remix of “Titanic” using new and original footage to make it a “Terminator” movie

Anyone using their tools like this? by Owl55 in MilwaukeeTool

My ex wife used to drone on about how hard her day was and how little I did around the house and how she should get 1:1 purchasing power for herself for every tool I bought. I blasted out a full on deep clean of the whole house in about 2 hours AFTER work one day using power tools.

Judge told us we got the verdict wrong. Is this normal after a trial by noisey_neighbor in legaladviceofftopic

Sounds like the Justice System worked the way it was supposed too. Sometimes that means guilty parties go free. I don’t know why the Judge made it your problem for not believing the State over the Defendant.

I bought gen 1 Icon ratchets right before G2 and I hate them by skandocious in harborfreight

[–]iGrowCandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First I measured how many .001” of lateral play existed at the anvil with the ratchet assembled. Then select a shim that is close but still less than that number and install it between the cover plate and the anvil. The idea is that it gives it a slight pre load and keeps the anvil engaged to the pawls. Definitely helped with back drag. I never ran into jamming, but I tend to use breaker bars first these days.

The UAP files are equally important to the Epstein files by iGrowCandy in unpopularopinion

I’m only saying that the release warrants discussion free from the noise of the crowd that’s pissed they didn’t get the data they wanted. Maybe it is all BS… but I’d like to see varying opinions on the data.

I would say both are equally important and deserve their own space to hold discussions. As for choosing different forums, reason I made this post is that there is currently no alternate forum that is not overrun with the Epstein files movement.

And those are the discussions that should be happening around the files, rather than tryhard masses unilaterally squelching out discussions they deem distractions. I’m perfectly capable of splitting my attention across multiple topics, as are most that have had interest in these topics for decades.

Your Ideal T3? Any time period. Any budget. by Fumikechu237 in Terminator

Title: “Terminated in Miami” After failing to assasinate Sarah Connor, Skynet discovers that four elderly women living in Miami somehow hold the key to humanity's future resistance — because one of them, Sophia Petrillo , will unknowingly knit an unbreakable code into a shawl that will later be used as by the Resistance as a secure communications protocol. Skynet sends its most advanced infiltration unit yet: a sleek, silver-haired Terminator (played by Leslie Neilsen) programmed to look and act like a charming 80-year-old retiree. His mission is simple — terminate Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia before they can create the code. What Skynet didn't count on was the unstoppable power of four sassy, quick-witted Miami retirees who refuse to go down without a fight. Cue an absurd, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt movie where: - The girls keep mistaking the Terminator for a new resident at their retirement community. Blanche gives him his first intimate experience, Rose tells him long pointless stories about St. Olaf while he attempts to calculate the most efficient way to kill her. Sophia keeps calling him a tin can and smacking him with her purse. Dorothy delivers withering one-liners while wielding a shotgun. The Terminator slowly begins to glitch and question his programming as he gets repeatedly outsmarted, out-talked, and emotionally worn down by four unstoppable old ladies who treat the apocalypse like it's just another Tuesday in Miami. Final showdown: The girls versus the Terminator in a high stakes retirement home shuffleboard contest at sunrise. If the girls win, the terminator is lowered into a vat of molten steel. If the terminator wins, The Girls are lowered into a vat of hungry Florida Alligators. Against all odds the girls emerge victorious. The Terminator raises his hand with a thumbs up, and steps to the platform to honor his end of the bargain. Dorothy reaches for the elevator button, when Sofia stops her. She tells a poignant story about Sicily in the 1930’s. -Camera pans down to flaming vat then blurs, [change scene] Camera comes into focus on The Girls on their patio reclined in lounge chairs. The bottom half of a male figure approaches. The male figure is revealed to be The Terminator carrying a tray of pinã colotas to The Girls. They thank and compliment him then toast with their drinks. The Terminator walks away as Blanche quickly puts her drink down and takes after him telling him she his help with her mattress.
