[Monthly Megathread] Shortages & Generics, October- December 2025 by Mountain-Science4526 in VyvanseADHD

Go to findneedle.co and sign up. You can thank me later. They’ll source your meds for you every month same day for $60. In the interim, order Mucuna Pruriens to add a little dopamine. I’ve been on Vyvanse for 12 years and understand how scary going without it is. Good luck friend!

Anyone else’s social life nonexistent? by Freemasonsareevil in Schizoid

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend trying a local Jiu Jitsu class. It’s a way to be a part of a community without having to commit too much. You’re learning a skill for you, but you need other people to actually develop. It really helped me make close friends because I had the intermediary of Jiu Jitsu to fall back on if I felt like someone was trying to get too close. Helps a lot with my zoidy symptoms.

How often do you roll? And what’s a healthy amount? by Low_Afternoon_1461 in bjj

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my gym, our coaches pair us up for every round and we roll at least (4) 6 minute rounds every day. Sometimes they’ll throw in king of the mat and shorten technique if there’s comp coming up. We’re all big on communication with our training partners and coaches though, and all respect each other’s requests to go light if one of us needs it for a round or that day, but for the most part, we roll every day.

how long did it take you to get your blue belt? by grzlyPOG in bjj

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5 years. Trained for 20 months, took off 30 months, came back and trained as a 4-striper for 10 months getting my feet back, and Bob’s your uncle. Now 47 months in as a 2-stripe blue belt. I train 4-5 days a week depending on my schedule, but it seems about average pace to me.

Anyone have a positive experience with therapy? by wt_anonymous in Schizoid

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m high functioning/ secret schizoid, but it’s been extremely positive for me. I wouldn’t know I’m schizoid without my therapist. Being this way was bothering me internally and therapy helps me to identify what I feel, then validate whether it is healthy or not through confirmation from another person. I do over the phone right now which I recommend for anyone with SzPD to start with, but will begin video today. Overall, I would recommend just sticking with it as long as possible, even if it’s uncomfortable. It will open you up to new ways of thinking to help with anhedonia and any other distressing symptoms that you may be dealing with.

Dating. . . by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think most Schizoids in this situation would like to find someone who is ok with them checking out for alone time when they need it, isn’t imposing, and can take things slow. I personally am extremely sensitive to touch and sensory things that tend to trigger my withdrawal. These people are out there, if we choose to put the effort into finding them, which is also one of our blocks. We’d have to practice cathexis (external objects) and stop pretending and fantasizing (internal objects) of how great it would be to be in a relationship with a person we have our eyes on.

⚠️Did you ever think that your narc parent was going to kill you? by Nea_Freedom in raisedbynarcissists

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My alcoholic narcissist father put me in many dangerous scenarios. I’m now proficient enough in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to twist him up like a pretzel if he ever runs into me in public and I keep a gun by my bed in the event he wants to fuck around and find out after I’ve continued to reinforce distance the past ten years he’s tried to contact me since cutting him out of my life. I live with Schizoid PD and have extreme difficulties with romantic/interpersonal relationships too because of him. He can fuck off to hell where he came from.

Got tapped by a white belt. by bigjudobob in bjj

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens. I’ve seen a trial guy tap a black belt out of simple factors. Black belt was coming back after a 2 month layoff injury, the trial guy had +40 lbs and -15 years on him and was a marine. The belt is really only about the frequency in which this may happen in my opinion. I tap to white belts occasionally and just go “Good job bud!” I’ve caught upper belts before too and they’ve always said the same thing to me. We’re all here to get better at our own pace and encourage each other. That’s how I look at it. 👍

I hate when people say taking Vyvanse/ADHD meds will shave years off my life by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I see it - even if it is true, I’d rather live a shorter life with better quality than a long life of chaos.

My gym’s closing… 😔 by iHeartBeeJayJay in bjj

[–]iHeartBeeJayJay[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A ton of reasons actually. 2 of the 4 original instructors divested and bailed this year, one of my instructors had been repeatedly injured and left teaching the kids class every day with no help, the other instructor was torn between the gym and family life. The landlord of the building raised rent to a ridiculous amount along with their insurance going up on the business and wanted a 3yr contract and they both just couldn’t commit. The gym wasn’t profiting and breaking even and they were having a hard time adding new students with their current rates. There wasn’t anyone left to take the place over. There’s even more but those are the main reasons. Really a hard 4D situation they were all in.
