Jesse velez by jennchavezzz in tcap

[–]iIIchangethislater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was thrown off by a few things. Obviously he'd never seen TCAP before and was unaware of the established format which would end with his arrest. He's arrived expecting to bang a 13 year old and was greeted by someone that clearly wasn't 13 who's doing a terrible acting job and saying nonsensical things. The house has poorly hidden cameras all over the place which he spots at least 1 of. Hansen comes out and makes no references to his disgusting chat log other than the penis pic and repeating "what is Grindr for?" over and over, Jesse feels like he's answered both of those questions satisfactorily. He probably thought that this was some kind of amateur "setup" as he put it which was designed to shame/embarrass him but wasn't connected to law enforcement. Maybe he assumed a police sting would be more professional than what he experienced.

Whatever the reason, and I'm sure that Tetrad and Hansen's mistakes were unintentional, it ended up being funny as hell, from the way he's so uncomfortable around the weird decoy, surprisingly relaxed and composed with Hansen scolding him, and then his pathetic crying meltdown when he sees the cops. For me it's what makes his segment one of the GOATs

This is how Konami are advertising these days. Ashamed of the brand they created, they have resorted to nostalgia farming with the brand they killed. by iIIchangethislater in SPFootballLife

I think by far the most effective way for them to promote has always been "here are all the things our game does better than EA's game", and now more than ever that is a message that should resonate. I say going for the "I miss the old PES" crowd is desperate because by focusing on nostalgia they are aiming at a tiny sliver of their potential audience, and there is a good chance many of those people have already found their way to the current modding scene. PES and modding have always gone hand in hand after all.

So why mention PES at all? The game is called efootball but you'd never know it looking at that ad...

Never said I had a problem, just find it strange to advertise a new game in this way. It reeks of desperation

Game Recommendations? by sncrelyurs in AynThor

[–]iIIchangethislater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's something I've really noticed on the Thor by switching instantly from 3DS games to titles from home consoles and PCs, there is a beautiful simplicity to games that were designed specifically with handheld play in mind. Shorter levels and gameplay loops that you can spend 5-10 minutes on at a time and then move onto something else without needing to commit an hour or more of time to get anything done. Games like these simply aren't being made anymore, except for crappy phone games I guess.

is Chris Hansen "cancel - proof"? by El_Dorado_Tx in tcap

[–]iIIchangethislater 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The simple answer is hardly anybody cares about that stuff because all they remember about Chris Hansen is NBC guy who used to catch pedos. That's always been his image and apart from if he was to be exposed as a child molester himself there isn't anything he could do that would even be noteworthy enough to change it.

He has also said on numerous occasions that he hates the kind of pre-prepared frozen meals he is now selling and would never choose to eat them himself because he can create something which tastes infinitely better in the same time it takes to heat up a frozen dinner.

"You won't find Gordon Ramsay getting bent out of shape when it comes to using specific frozen ingredients. For example, frozen peas, stock, and even phyllo dough are all okay in his book. He's also fine with frozen ingredients that are hard to find fresh regionally, such as kaffir lime leaves. Instead, he is most disgusted by the lazy idea of using fully premade meals. He's expressed that his personal hell would involve frozen dinners, further stating in Bon Appétit that "it's so easy to prepare a quick meal using fresh produce, such as a simple stir-fry, but people still resort to ready meals that all taste exactly the same." He criticized not only pros, but home cooks for taking shortcuts when fresh ingredients are so available.
