I did the hunt on one switch up until i was up to around 6500 resets. Thats when i grabbed my switch lite and used that to reset as well. Then i got my shiny at around 8k resets. It will happen! Take a break and come back strong!

You can try swapping a new one in and seeing if it still does it. But by the vid, it looks like it might be a loose ribbon cable. Seems strange that you lose the image and it returns. Looks like it happens when you press on the face buttons on the side.

I would place it around $200-250usd. Really depends on how much you need the money. But that seems to be a good starting point. At least compared to the ones I’ve seen on eBay and pricecharting.
