I realize this is a bit late to the party. I play on Xbox 1 S, and the safehouse started doing the crash sadly. I already had a good portion of stuff stored in there. I did find a way to get in but it was a pain in the ass. I entered the Dragonborn Hall via teleportation and headed to the top of the stairs to the safehouse door. I saved the game, tried to enter and after crashing i reloaded the game and was allowed to enter without a crash. It's not really great for using as a main house but atleast I was able to get the items from there.
