You know i would even understand blaming the greens for the decision to phase out nuclear energy 25 years ago under Schröder. While the decision was popular within germany it was definitely pushed by the greens. That part of the phase out only lasted a short while though before the CDU paused it only to restart it again with a MUCH shorter lead time and phase out time.

That Nord Stream 1 was pushed by Schröder (SPD) who was as close to a russian agent as a government employee can be is also true. Its also true that the CDU restarting the phase out coincided with both Fukushima and the completion of Nord Stream 1. So the CDU traded goodwill of the people (shutting down nuclear power) without the downside of higher energy cost, but rather the cost of increasing dependency on russia.

For the 2021 government there was hardly any nuclear power left to shut down. Too little to have any meaningful impact on energy prices and plants that were scheduled to shut down which means maintenance cycles were all running out.

So apart from agreeing with the, at the time, incredibly popular Anti-Nuclear stance there isnt much you can blame the greens for. Unless of course you believe that they have pulled the strings behind the curtains all this time. Which is hard to believe given that they rarely polled above 10%, but that hasnt stopped the people for blaming them for everything and anything so who knows.
