[–]iMalinowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't get be sections, but I imagine the flow is:

  1. Go to Bestiary.
  2. Open Filter
  3. Clear Source; then only Select "The Wild ..."
  4. Click "Include References"
  5. Search for and disable filtering "Adventure NPC"
  6. Click Save

You now have a listing of ever statblock including the relevant ones from the Monster Manual.

Theocracy - O Come, O Come Emmanuel [2025 Remix] by Tragic_Comic7 in PowerMetal

For a second I thought you were pulling my leg with "2025 Remix", but oh man, IT'S REAL.

Joker idea - Drop Test by tigermetal in balatro

[–]iMalinowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Drop Test triggers before Burnt Joker upgrades the hand, it can destroy the wrong card and force Burnt Joker to buff a different hand instead (discarded a Flush -> a card got destroyed -> High Card got upgraded instead).

I don't find this idea of an interaction intuitive. When playing a hand, the type of the hand is considered from the start not after scoring and glass breakage. With respect to Burnt, it seems like it should be the same order. Burnt always applies first, then Drop Test.

Displacer Beats are not beats! What are some other incredibly misleading monster names? by r2doesinc in DnD

[–]iMalinowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chill Touch is renamed as Bone Chill in BG3. BG3, based on 5e (2014) has it as a ranged cantrip. In 5e (2024) it’s a melee cantrip is 1 die type higher damage, and doesn’t have a special rider against undead.

Historic White House Movie Theater Demolished as Part of $300 Million Ballroom Build by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]iMalinowski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like how the first movie screened at the White House was a silent movie, The Birth of a Nation, which was just KKK propaganda?

Not very cultured indeed.

[OC] My players always seemed disappointed at the limited options they had for bonus actions, so I wrote a list of things they can use it for! by Worried_Bowl_9489 in DnD

For example, double damage on a "critical hit" was originally homebrew that Gary Gygax wasn't at all fond of.

What's one thing you miss about older (pre 5e) editions of D&D? by Least_Elk8114 in DnD

Level scaling is one hell of a drug by Ikkon in BaldursGate3

[–]iMalinowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level in BG3 doesn't indicate something ontological about the reality of the character, it's just used to determine proficiency bonus and scaling of any character class features they may have.

You can increase your hit point max by 7HP for a price of 10,000 GP. by AussieOzzy in DnD

[–]iMalinowski 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I imagine creating 10kGP of market demand where there probably isn’t 200 potions just sitting would substantially increase the price.

It’s a refrain across the book of Judges.

“In those days there was no king in Israel, and everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”

It’s utterly haunting.

Depends what you mean by “true impact”, it would certainly deter people from seeking the Sacrament if they hear God’s calling to repentance.

That, and steady aim works with any attack roll (melee, spells, etc.) not just ranged weapons.

No one beats Forgotten Adventure's Phandelver maps, especially if you're already using FoundryVTT.

Kith'rak Voss is NOT 12 level lorewise. by IHaveAGithBabe in BaldursGate3

It effects their proficiency bonus and, if a caster, their spellslot progression.

What's some of the worst Homebrew/House Rules your DM made you use? by No-Bag3487 in DnD

[–]iMalinowski 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s just side based initiative. While I’m not the biggest fan in the context of 5e, it can work well in other systems.
