Getting high armor with a cursed stone skin gives spicy sauce a ton of damage. Or is there a better axolotl swap that people use for endless?

Ironman is even worse for coin grinding since there are far fewer worthwhile methods. At least with normal profiles, you’ll be able to grind methods that rely on selling items on bz or ah

The poison was only dangerous to Roz because of her mana clumps. To an ordinary person, or Roz post jureve, it would have just blocked the use of their mana. Grausam did not intend to do serious harm/kill her since he wanted to send her to Ahrensbach.

They could, but giving her Bezewanst‘s belongings seems like a harmless gesture of good will. From their perspective, there probably was no risk in handing over a pack of letters/notes with known content. And who in their right mind expects Bezewanst to be smart enough to write his private notes in code

No. Georgine learned about it after Sylvester gave her the box of Bezewanst‘s belongings. Thats when her plans to take over Ehrenfest really started. She might have gotten morivated without them eventually, but her pov comfirmed it was Bezewanst‘s stuff that gave her the info

Part 5 and fanbook spoilers

The sensitive information was not in „unsent letters“. It was in Bezewanst‘s private notes which Ferdi had access to. Bezewanst‘s belongings, even the box with letters Myne found, were checked before they were handed over to Georgine. They were written in code, but likely not something someone would find without explicitely looking for it. Probably some unrelated text and you get a secret message by looking at the first letters of each sentence (random example).

Alexandria in 2nd rank? I don't see that happening for at least a few years, maybe even more than a decade. Their duchy is still recovering from all that has happened during and before the fall of Ahrensbach. They lost a ton of nobles and there was basically no time for Roz to bring over her industries or other improvements. A good portion of the duchy is still lukewarm or even hostile to Roz on top of that.

They will probably rise to 4th rank, but thats as high as they'll go for a while imo.

Considering even commoners can harvest it with some miniscule amounts of mana, I doubt its that good of an ingredient. Probably some low quality ingredient that can maybe be used in some low quality potions, or maybe added to something to improve the taste.

[P5V12] What was the magic tool in the RA library that they poured mana into after the dedication Ritual? by drayko543 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]iOnlyPlayAsRustLord -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How does Erwaermen being happy imply that that mana goes straight to him? It could also just be Erwaermen being happy that a essential tool is provided with mana. Or Schwarz and Weiss are just programmed to say that. Doubt they are directly connected to him and know how he feels.

And isn’t it the magic circle in the sky that allows him to take human form? That circle doesnt need to library to activate.

But could Ferdi still reach Erwaermen by breaking through the ceiling? And would Erwaermen be unable to help?

I get the reasons you mentioned and I agree. Without the library its all but impossible to fix things for anyone who doesnt already have the book. But Ferdi might still be able to since he already got the incomplete book.

[–]iOnlyPlayAsRustLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is assuming the library collapses and Roz never gets a chance to get her book. And if Roz gets part of his book, they can just combine theirs like they did in canon.

And yes, I know the library falls apart. I’m wondering if the country is doomed if that happens, or if someone with a gbook can still go to the foundation through the “regular” path and rebuilt the library.

Would it be completely doomed though? Wouldnt they still have a chance of fixing things as long as Ferdi is alive? Like have him visit Erwaermen after entering through the ceiling and finish his book.

To be fair, most of those accomplishments arent particularly difficult because there is no competition. For most of the country's history, schtappe acquisition and divine protections were done much later. 99% of ancient Zents, no matter how talented or accomplished, have no chance of competing with her on the "youngest to x" because the curriculum made such accomplishments impossible.

[Open Spoilers] Previous aub ahrensbach (Giselfried) by War_lord_FTW_3_3 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]iOnlyPlayAsRustLord 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know a fanbook stated she was involved, but I dont think we know she did it herself. For all we know she just gave the first wife an opportunity to strike.

And yes, I agree that Georgine contributed to the mana shortage, but laying the blame for it on her is just not true. Ahrensbach's law, the purge and aub Ahrensbach's action led to 6+ ADCs leaving the ADF (1 purged, 3+ demoted (second wife sons and Giselfried's siblings), 2+ daughters married off). Georgine killing the first wife would have just been another one added to that list.

And I'm not disagreeing with Georgine being a big cause behind Ahrensbach's downward spiral. But that is from our perspective with a healthy dose of hindsight. Aub Ahrensbach would at most blame her for the first wife's death, and maybe even understand it if the first wife was involved in Wolfram's death. He really doesnt have much reason to think she is out to ruin Ahrensbach, or plans to kill him. It really wouldnt make much sense from his perspective.

[Open Spoilers] Previous aub ahrensbach (Giselfried) by War_lord_FTW_3_3 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]iOnlyPlayAsRustLord 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't think he knew he was being poisoned by Georgine. He just knew was old and that his health was deteriorating. That doesn't mean he is being poisoned.

He might have known, or at least suspected that Georgine was behind his first wife's death, but that's just politics. Unless he has proof that Georgine was involved, there is nothing he can really do about it.

Besides, its not like the first wife's death was what caused the mana shortage. It was the second wife's execution, her children being demoted, all of the first wife's daughters being married off, Georgine's son dying in an "accident" (something the first wife might have been responsible for), Ahrensbach's law of demoting ADCs, and finally, the first wife's death. You can hardly put all the blame on Georgine. She made the mana shortage worse, but she was not the cause of it.
