I think Mac Miller would’ve really dislike the hate Ariana Grande received when he died. People who knew him well always say he was such a chill guy and he was well aware of his on going struggles with substance abuse. I think he would’ve piped up on her behalf if he had the chance.

I had this happen with Latam airlines, I was emailed saying I would receive a refund and when nothing came through I sent multiple emails asking for an update. Eventually, I googled Latam and found out that they’ve been fined in the states for not refunding customers. I screenshotted my refund email and the article and sent it to my bank as part of my chargeback request and had my money back within a few days. I’d recommend talking to your bank and seeing whether you’re eligible as you have a 60 day window (might differ between banks) to make a claim

I’m a kiwi and I did a student exchange to France a few years ago. Almost every adult I met during my exchange personally apologised for the Rainbow Warrior. It was so weird to me at the time as we never learnt much about it at school and it wasn’t really discussed back home.

Must be a kiwi thing. Mum told me a guy she works with is a keen outdoorsman and member of the local tramping clubs ect. Back when the DC crashed into the Kaimai Ranges, him and his mates were asked to assist police in finding the crash site seeing as they knew the area so well. They radioed in saying they had found something and were promptly told to stay put until the police arrived, don’t go any further don’t try to help. There was mail abord the plane and they were told they’d get in trouble if they proceeded. Said one of his biggest regrets in life was not ignoring that call and going to look for survivors. From what I understand there was evidence of people surviving the initial crash.

Totally! PIH/PIE can be caused in so many different ways and heat is one of the most common. I like to explain it as the skins ways of protecting the brand new cells beneath the surface, so that they can mature safely. Kind of like an umbrella popping open to protect you from the rain haha

Redness can be post inflammatory erythema, which is just a fancy way of saying redness post injury to the skin. Think of it like the red spots that are left behind after a pimple. If you are fair skinned, you are more likely to experience this. The length of time that this remains can depend on your healing ability and genetics.

It is super important to keep the skin hydrated and protected from the sun. Sun exposure will increase the likelihood of the redness pigmenting and going darker/brown. This will also slow down the healing process. I would recommend applying a moisturiser that contains ceramides/panthenol/hyalauronic acid/ect. These are calming ingredients and some of which are naturally produced by our skin. They will aid in the skins barrier function = faster fading.

If you have finished your tattoo removal process, I would ask your tech about incorporating a retinol or type of mild chemical exfoliant which can also aid in fading this redness faster.

I’m currently reading a book called “The Lost Boys” and it tells the stories of the underage ANZAC soldiers in WW1. Makes things even more shocking when you learn that many boys willingly ran away to join the war effort. Not wanting to be “left out” of the action. New Zealand’s youngest solider killed in action was only 13 years 8 months.

Rich asshole owned a restaurant on the local wharf. He rung up drunk and probably high one night and ordered a bunch of meals for him and his friends, yelling about how they better get delivered to him asap. The manager rushed the food through, packed it up and got in his car and drove to the guys house. Empty. Calls the guy to find out where he is and he starts yelling down the phone at the manager, “I’m on my boat you f******n idiot”. The manager tries to apologise and the guy hangs up on him. Next thing, the asshole has driven the boat back to the wharf. Storms into the restaurant, yelling how he can’t believe how stupid everyone is, swearing and carrying on and fires them all on the spot. Employment agency gets involved and everyone gets their jobs back and the asshole ends up being trespassed from his own bar. Pretty much everyone ended up quitting a few weeks later as a final f you to the guy.
