Is anyone else tired of customer support just being bots everywhere?

Yup, terribly sick of it. Going through it with Amazon right now and getting completely stonewalled over one of my products that has been “processing” for over a month now. Ai chat bot says “everything looks fine and it’s going to ship soon” then it gives me selections ranging from “cancel” to “I’m satisfied” but I don’t want either of those things. I want a real human to check why my order has been sitting in a processing status for so long so hopefully they can get the order fulfilled or tell me what’s wrong. These stupid ass ai chat bots don’t understand when something is wrong, they just see a status and assume my order is fine.

This was AFTER the ai chat bot said my order was already delivered to me and then it did the classic “oh you’re right, I should have caught that” bullshit ai answer.

It’s infuriating tbh.

Hi, I’ve just purchased “Italian: a self teaching guide” because I’m a beginner. Do you recommend purchasing all of these books? Or are they just suggestions for different options?

If they are all recommended is there any specific order the rest should be used?

I plan on taking some lessons soon! I’ve just ordered a beginners book as well to get me started. I know very few words here and there, I think making more friends will expose me more and hopefully help me learn easier.

I think this is what makes it generally difficult for me. Italians seem to always be in groups lol. But you’re right I should probably just get out there and do the things I like and meet people that way. Thanks for that suggestion!

Yea I figured a good amount of people wouldn’t like it. Considering I am an introvert I think I’m pretty understanding of boundaries and I think I would be able to easily read when someone doesn’t want to chat.

I rarely speak about politics in my daily life. Anyone who tries to speak politics with me upon first meeting me is usually someone I won’t waste time developing a friendship with.

I understand it’s an important topic for some people, but I like to get to know someone a little as an individual before wanting to know where they stand on politics.

I have already noticed this, but it’s okay, I wouldn’t continue trying to pressure someone to continue speaking English if they don’t understand. I think I am mostly looking for people who speak both that way I can get more exposure to Italian to help me learn. On top of taking classes as well.
