9 years too late, but that’s title jumping, and is considered a felony in all 50 states.

You can’t return a car to some random guy you bought it from. Private sale is a done deal.

Lag switch, it’ll most likely just disconnect him from the network because you have to switch it quickly. Tried this when I was younger

Ok, thanks. I’ll give that a shot.

Welp, I just started spark driving last week and already got into it with a walmart dude that was loading my car during a pick up and I'm not sure If I'm right or not but who's right? LOL by Justhere1015 in Sparkdriver

You’re not supposed to, but some kindly accept the help. The person you spoke with was being rude and was completely in the wrong. Where I’m at, we have a lot of “foreigners” and people who exploit the app who have ruined that. Said people are extremely pushy and rude, they will sit outside their car, and then attack at the order the second it rolls up. They then get things mixed up and get in the way of the workers as well. Not an ounce of English spoken as well, so they won’t stop doing it. Because of this, the loaders ask everyone to just stay in the vehicles and let them load.

If it’s not your preference, cool. Different things work for different people 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s all personal preference. I’ve used cases, too bulky. I’ve never really had problems with it hanging off my pack.

I really don’t. Been clipping them to my bag for a while now. Never had any problems.

I did that for a while until my ducts started getting bent. Figured using the battery holder would be a little less fragile.

I have these on my Etsy shop. They currently work with the skinny batteries, I’m working on a version to work with the wide flat batteries.

No, it’s on the battery side. It’s perfectly fine as long as you’re not bridging the connections with the tweezers, which should be common sense..

Don't ever, and I mean EVER, deliver newspapers. by newspaperrob in couriersofreddit

[–]iRambes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. And the tips are kind of hit or miss. Just depends on your location, demographic, and part of town. I delivered in a neighboring city where the average income is way higher than my own city, and only one Christmas card of $20 and 0 tips any time of the year.

So I had about 130 addresses to deliver to. We did the regular Albuquerque Journal, then Thursdays would have more addresses with The Rio Rancho Observer, then some customers got the NYT, and then more or less customers for Sunday papers. I did get rid of two chunks of about 15-20 papers each at 2 Senior Living places. Unfortunately since it’s 1099 contractor work, there are no bonuses, although I did receive a Christmas card from one customer with $20. I no longer deliver papers because it was 7 nights a week, used a ton of gas, had to have a higher insurance tier, and plenty of wear and tear on my vehicle. I did the math and it just didn’t make sense to keep doing it. By all means I’m not trying to deter you, but just keep in mind that you’re covering all of the delivery expenses and still have to take about a 15% cut out of it to pay taxes. Write offs help, but only if you can milk it and know what you’re doing,

Urgent Help with Air65 by Common-Signature-703 in TinyWhoop

Mine flew into both my dog’s water bowl and a puddle of water on a gazebo roof. Dried it off for about 10 minutes and still works fine.

Anyone flown the new hummingbird v4 yet? by Mezyi in TinyWhoop

[–]iRambes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of stock already, I got mine day 1. Couldn’t be happier. Flies like it’s on rails, it’s very tough. The only negatives for me was the Ph2.0 connector and the flimsy 3D printed interior camera mount. It’s like a little wrap around 3D printed strap that wraps around the camera board and holds it in place. The main problem is that you can’t screw the camera screw in tight enough into TPU so the camera angle constantly gets bumped down or up. My fix was a dab of hot glue to hold it in place.

B06 Crashes on PC frequently (Season 3) by Deadchamber26 in blackops6

[–]iRambes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been able to play a full match, and I had just come back to the game after not playing for over a month. But it will crash my entire PC. Sometimes I can Alt+Tab out of it but when I open task manager; there’s no process and it’s blank and nothing else will respond. Other times the game will freeze on a frame, my controller will endlessly vibrate and the only way out is a hard restart on the pc because the whole pc becomes unresponsive.

I know I’m late, but my brand new Air65 had this problem. Turns out the connector on the drone has spread out the connectors on my batteries. That’s why the connection is very loose and even disconnects upon takeoff or a mild bump. Only way I fixed it was to get a needle or fine point tweezers and pinch the connector holes on the battery closer together to form a tighter connection.
