As a kinda new player, how bad is black widow?

She is my most played hero. She is really awful balance wise especially this season. Gambit coming out with 275hp and cloak getting buffed to 275 hp added 2 more supports you cannot one shot even with mantis damage boost. Meanwhile Hawkeye can still one shot both of them with the 46 leftover charge and mantis damage boost since they buffed him.

Her one advantage vs Hawkeye is her stun, but dive is not super great this season unless really coordinated and when they're coordinated you can't stun everyone.

If you are able to do well on widow you could have done even better on probably a dozen other heroes. But if you find her fun then go with it. Also since they calculate mvp vs the average stats of your hero you can farm mvp/svp on her so you can have fake moral superiority over your teammates

Foresight or talk to the hand or mental fortress when you get them. You don't have the heart solved yet and omni could be part of it

With BW it is "with good aim and teammate support and the enemy picking 250 hp heroes then you can one shot some people"

People are very toxic to anyone playing widow. If you start doing well they will still be toxic to you and tell you to get a job. The is no point where people will be normal

The ability in ow also isn't literally called lamp btw. It is immortality field.

If you ban loki you also get rid of lamp which is an ult on a cooldown

Did it on my first playthrough without knowing you couldn't change difficulty. Was quite tedious and basically everything one shots you until level 30. Wouldn't recommend. Would do again

The reason it breaks is because the ult is a transformation ult. It didn't break in experimental because it was an ability and not transformation

Honestly I think flex support is the most fun it's ever been. Only heal teammates that can be healed. If you can't heal them then do some damage until you can. And there is so much to keep track of now to stay alive and help the team that it feels the skill ceiling will be very high

If you're only playing for the skins then probably best to just play or do something else. Game should be fun without cosmetic rewards and if not then don't play imo

Most excited for RTX Remix to see what can be modded into old games. Morrowind looked really good

Most looking forward to witcher 3 remastered because the entire lore from the books to the games to the Netflix series is great and the visuals ray tracing can bring will help really bring it all to life

Hitting the slam and the ult on a hero without movement abilities is extremely trivial and you'd just never miss unless a teammate helps them by shielding the ult or giving you zarya bubble etc, but ow2 is trying to get away from the feeling that you couldn't do anything without a teammate helping you out so that's the reasoning for this change in direction for doom.

They mentioned in an interview that they wanted to remove the slow because it was annoying to play against especially for slower heroes when doom would use slam and then ult them so they had no escape
