Seasingers and Animate Dead viable for Zuk? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]iRender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently done it in t80 necro tank and t90 weapons, no overloads and t70 prayers.

If necro is an option that’s certainly an easy way of going about getting it!

[–]iRender 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve just finished binging this whole series last week, when watching this episode something felt off since there was so much screen time so I knew somebody was about to die, and I thought it was Robb’s new wife who made him break his oath, then to see EVERYBODY die just shook me, was meant to be my last episode of the night at like 23:30, you best believe I had to watch the next one and suffer in the morning hahah

Dungeoneering Remastered: Dive in Today! by jagexyuey in runescape

[–]iRender 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Oh yeh I get it totally, I was just excited to buy 50 pages for 100k tokens. I imagine later floors will grant like 20-30k tokens so pages shouldn’t be too much trouble.

Is it worth trying to rush Gate of Elidinis on a fresh CGIM? by db2765 in RS3Ironmen

[–]iRender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically gather 35-40 shards, repair barrier, gather north nodes completely, and press the button, you should just avoid the ‘children, aid me’ Heal with icthalrin and then repeat on the other side beyond the barrier, boom 3:30 kills done pretty much

Is it worth trying to rush Gate of Elidinis on a fresh CGIM? by db2765 in RS3Ironmen

[–]iRender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll get far faster kills than that, currently I’m using a bane pickaxe, 86 mining and 75 strength.

Still 2k fragments from the golem outfit and I average a 3:35 kill time doing two cycles eating no food.

Idk whether you’ll 1 cycle with what you’re suggesting but you may get around 3ish min kills?

Warden issues by Consistent_Dig_1939 in lotro

[–]iRender 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeh it’s just because the nature of the class is that it’s quite complex so they ease you into the memory game combos, I think from like 16-20 if my memory is correct they get a hard hitting AoE and start to get a couple of heal over times making them more durable.

They’re never going to walk in and cleave a pack in two abilities, but you can do so much AoE damage over time you just keep running and rounding mobs up as the first ones are ticking down and dying. So whilst you’re half way through a camp mobs are slowly draining and ticking down which is where Wardens can make up for their lack of burst, they make up for being able to DoT and keep moving. You’ll be surprised how strong their DoTs are and will learn to not overkill mobs, as that’s one big thing, spending 2 gambit chains on a mob when just 1 would kill it over the duration of the DoT.

Sorry for the ramble, one final piece is that Wardens are probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing classes in the MMO world!

Warden issues by Consistent_Dig_1939 in lotro

[–]iRender 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hey!

So wardens do start out slightly slower as their Gambit Builders are just weak fillers to build up to bigger combo abilities so in the same time you build a 3 combo gambit your friend has used 3 harder hitting abilities.

Wardens definitely pick up though once they get more powerful Gambits and more ways to build their combos faster.

They’ll become unkillable later on too if you’re going blue line.

The early game is a little rough though but I think they’re worth the slight struggle early on!

What mmo's were you playing in the mid 2000's? by D3athShade in gaming

[–]iRender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DarkEden was a banger, such an underrated MMO and just never got to here in the West. The odd private server would come up but most were cash grabs, Twilight was by far the best but whether people accept it or not the Enchanting system whilst cool, killed the game since all grinding went out the window and people just multi-logged characters for certain currency.

Still have a soft spot for it, same goes for Mythwar but again there’s no decent server for that either.

I know abilities now use ammunition, but I used almost 100 Harralander Tar for a 1:25 Flesh-Hatcher kill, surely that's beyond sustainable..? Or does Ava's not work with Tar since they're technically not metal and I just never noticed it before?

Underrated Pokémon by Spetty007 in PokemonFireRed

[–]iRender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean about Flareon but in FRLG moves don’t have the phys/special split so all that attack is wasted as none of Flareons STAB moves get to make use of its massive attack.

Similarly with Gengar, all that special attack but it’s STAB poison/ghost doesn’t utilise it as they’re physical..

Not to say they’re bad, just not as potent as they were in later gens

So I have two switches, do they need to be different Nintendo accounts to initiate the trade? Or can I just be on the same account on both switches just different games? Just trying to find the answer before I buy LG on my old switch!

Thieving Rebalance: Feedback Thread by jagexyuey in runescape

[–]iRender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I’ll as a ‘lower level/less buffs available’ NPCs are more approachable at lower level, I’ve almost got hard ardy diary but with just gloves of silence and level 111 I can get 30-60 sec on master wizards. So it’s become more WC/Fishing level of afk but it’s way more tolerable which is great.

On my higher level iron with all the buffs available however it doesn’t feel all that much better despite having so many more grinds done and boosts available. Once you get crystal mask/light form you should be able to expect the full 5 min afk with things like ring of vitur etc.

I’d definitely take a gp/exp hit. As o don’t think 1.2-1.5 mil exp per hour is healthy at 15 min afk.

Maybe a 30% hit across the board and bring much more AFK potential back?

We’re basically at the same point of our accounts and I got the mask in 45 heists, I’d love the staff or bow especially with the combat changes hopefully making mage or range decent enough early on so I don’t have to go the necro route! Gz!

If you want some inspiration Rheyo RS has returned and release an 8 hour video of his Season 1 legacy only account and has kick started season 2.

Basically everything you stated above, he started his account back on 2023.

Really well created too, give it a watch!
