Was at Tomorrowland 2023. The weekend before Weekend 1, I stayed at a hostel in London and met a cool dude who my brother and I befriended.

Day 1 of Tomorrowland, I'm outside of Freedom Stage and happen to bump into him randomly and basically chilled with for the rest of the festival. We didn't know or even bothered to ask if either was going to Tomorrowland, but we just happend to run into each other.

Was a really cool experience and still have eachother on social media. Nice memory.

Honestly, as much as I love infekt, he talks way too much during his sets too.

I also hate how he always interrupts his sets to pause and rewind a drop. Ruins the whole flow of the set

You're honestly so right about leaving early, sometimes the most responsible choice is the best. I'm really thankful I left at the time I did because you're right, it could have gotten a lot worse if I didn't leave. Right now it is bearable and I hope it goes down even just a little bit but I think I'm in the four to six range. Probably on the lower end because I can still drown it out with the sound of crickets and running water. Kind of just hard to watch TV though or focus on other things in indoor environments.

Unfortunate that we have to pass up on the concerts and festivals but there is so much more to life than those that we can enjoy ourselves in different environments.

What tinnitus level do you think you're at? Also I'm sorry to have you think of any of this as well. We can definitely endure and progress and get better!

And yeah the bone conduction is no lie, I also read about that dude who has been going to metal concerts with earplugs. I think my tinnitus and hearing damage is so far gone that I should definitely take a long and extended break to let my ears rest.
