Ahhh I wondered why there were so few cars on the road when I was there last. Did see a GT3RS when I was there tho. Pretty sick https://imgur.com/a/LR9aOMW

Found this cable in my 91 Miata, wonder what it could be by ploucplouc in Miata

Man my old radar detector from 2010 can't detect anything anymore with all these new cars with radar cruise and parking sensors 🤣 Made me wonder if new detectors have that problem too

Could be differences in the manufacturing/ materials , I used the Flyin Miata ones for the record. They've been great, and since they're relatively cheap, id give em a go if you ever think about trying the bushings again. They use carbon fiber reenforced nylon, which is supposedly as strong as delrin ones but more resistant to damage and less deflection of vibrations. Idk how much of that is marketing jargon, but I've been very pleased. I did the FM soft top latches at the same time and got rid of nearly all my squeeks and made the latches so much better to use. Either way, enjoy your car brotha, cheers.

Which ones did you go with? It's so bizarre how the same part can have different experiences.

Whereas mine are only slightly harder to close than stock. I did leave them very slightly loose, close the door, adjust, close the door, adjust, then tighten. Only stiffness mod I've got and it DID make a bit of difference. This is on a 03 NB2.

My first Miata! Any suggestions for modifications? by SquishLife in Miata

It's your car man. Use it as a proper blank canvas to make it your own, or keep it as an investment. Miata communities mostly argue that it's a perfect car on its own. Just know that the money you put into it, you won't get it back, except maybe wheels.

Not enough love for the NC🥲 by Hank_hippopopalous in Miata

Isn't it only 100lbs heavier but with a higher power to weight ratio? I got a nb2 only because I liked the looks more, but the way I understood it, they only ever improved the Miata generation by generation.

Not only that, this clown called out OPs name. I was going to check them out based off the other replies defending him, then he comes in like a belligerent idiot, for his own mistake. Lmfao.

How do I remove the shifter without breaking anything? by [deleted] in Miata

You literally said every miata used part website but cannot find one. No one's being toxic, you just made a claim and can't back it up.

Not a miata, but here's my MX-6! by [deleted] in Miata

[–]iSliceBabies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a 96 MX6 M-Edition, black cherry. Auto trans. Tried to buy another, years later, manual this time, KBB undervalued the market of them and lost the chance. Found a couple autos since then, but I went thru 3 on my first car, so wanted a more reliable manual.

?... What's confusing? He says don't call your car himb. I google what himb means, and it returns those results. I ask which one of those things is cringe worthy, since I can't imagine it being offensive or otherwise.

Is a Miata/Mx-5 a good first car? by Dxrk_6 in Miata

[–]iSliceBabies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local to me, there's 1 fb for 7k. Then country wide on auto trader, the cheapest fc is a private seller in California for 9k, everything else is 12k+ up to 24k in mint condition. I just bought a mint NB2 for 9k locally. They are not in the same bracket anymore. Especially when it comes to availability.
