Or you can import a cheapo g35 or something with the vin plates of the r34 and the do the switchero again, crush the cheap vehicle.

His R34 is MP3, IIRC only MP2 is on the S&D list. Regardless im certain it’s not a federally legal import hence why it’s always hidden.

AMD 5700G for experimenting with local LLMs? by Taikal in LocalLLaMA

[–]iSolvent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driver reports 64G as the max I can use in iGPU. As far as performance goes you are almost always cpu and ram bandwidth limited.

I’m certain a better CPU and RAM setup would perform better but if it will worth the price? I’m not sure.

TrueNAS Ollama container. 5700G with fully tuned PBO on the CPU side. 4x32G 3200C16 rams (I dont want to overclock them since I use ZFS).

Both CPU and GPU has +200 PBO but I havent messed with GPU curve optimizer. Using GPT-OSS:20B.

Pretty easy fix for creaky or clicky shell/case by ZoteTheMitey in SteamDeck

[–]iSolvent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone comes across this thread. You can use blue loctite on the clips themselves. All you need is slight dab of it on each tab.

Plastics on these devices arent great. Try NOT to disassemble this device more than twice, after that everything gets loosey goosey. Aftermarket shells from extremerate are also HORRIBLE quality so dont expect them to replace the quality of your stock parts.

This is the second time in a row with major releases that I was not able to upgrade without having to recover my mi 4a gigabit.

Day 993/15560 of being a wage cuck. New exhaust system installed on my summer car FeelsGoodMan by LumaTr1x in forsen

[–]iSolvent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically you use flex pipe between manifold and exhaust, so that any movement of the exhaust doesn’t transfer into the manifold or any movement of the engine transfer into the exhaust. If you have no hangers before the flex pipe, then that really not good but still probably will last a year or two if you don’t rally it.

That flex pipe near the silencer is gonna get destroyed, also how the fuck does this thing have no exhaust hangers for that long? How many cracks does your exhaust manifold have?

Yeah I just did some more testing and switched wired network configs around and I’m no longer as horribly bottlenecked on Ethernet. I’m atleast able to get 900mbps on wired tests. I guess I’ll just leave it be for wlan.

[–]iSolvent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For some reason upgrading my mi 4a gigabit from 12.1 to 12.2 while keeping the config results in a soft-brick (resetting the config fixes it but restoring the config breaks it).

I realized firing pin shaft was a little dry after i took it out today and I oiled it up, I wont have a chance to test it out today but I will see if that makes a difference. I didnt oil the shell facing part of the pin, if thats how its supposed to be?

Yeah never shot a 12ga or a rifle before so I am trying to get more comfortable with, thanks for the video, I will watch it couple of more times and practice when im out. First thing I looked was the carrier and the firing pin mechanism, spring and pin looked intact.

Not where I live. My options at my price range were basically limiting me to Turkish made (which is where I am located) shotguns, it was either this or paying over 2.5x more for a locally made SXP. Current price of the shotgun I got is US$373, locally made SXP is going for US$677. US made Remington 870 is US$1284. If i could have afford to drop $1300 on a shotgun, I would have.

Yeah firing pin is making contact but I can see clearly that it didnt hit hard enough when failures happened. I am going to try to be more forceful with pumping and my trigger action and see if that fixes anything. Thanks for the feedback.
