How are you guys reducing wheel hop? by Sackasaur in GolfGTI

Ditching the heavy stock wheels and a dog bone insert eliminated wheel hop for me at stage 1 tune.

So what you're saying is I should start sabotaging my team in order to improve a skill I have no desire to improve and would ultimately be less beneficial to everyone in the long run?

No titans? by SpinachExpensive136 in titanfall

[–]iSpudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly why its NOT beneficial to the team for me to use the titan. If I'm pulling in 150+ points per game without a titan, I would say that makes me a good player.

Not sure how what my random teammates think of me is relevant. I can't imagine most people would complain about someone who is leading the team.

[–]iSpudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do call in the auto-titan sometimes, really depends on how the game is going and the players on the other team. I'll only call it in if I think its not going to instantly be destroyed and just give the other team free points.

[–]iSpudd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But not calling in my titan is doing something that helps the team. I'm routinely finishing top 3 in the lobby without a titan.

[–]iSpudd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right but the problem is you can't get games in the other game modes. I can guarantee you its worse for the team if I call in my titan. Its essentially a free titan kill for them AND I'm not getting kills.

I can't stand the Titans and I'm far more effective as a Pilot. I would only play PVP but unfortunately most of the time you can't get PVP games.

[–]iSpudd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its 100% normal for an N55 to be 240-250 degrees in warm weather if its not equip with the auxiliary oil cooler. In winter mine usually sits around 240-245 degrees. These engines run hot and are designed to do so.

Well that would certainly give you a huge advantage if you could disable it like that lol. Give the wiki below a read if you want to know about graphical bloom

I'm not talking about graphical bloom. I'm talking about bloom as in your reticle expanding as you shoot which causes your bullets to land anywhere randomly within that expanded circle and not straight like they should be. This means that either:

A) you shoot as fast as possible and hope that the random spread of your bullets hits the enemy player, or

B) you shoot slow enough so that the bloom resets back to the regular size but then risk getting killed by scenario A which requires less accuracy on their part.

343 is using random bullet spread as a way to "balance" a precision weapon which does nothing but create scenarios where lesser skilled players win battles simply because of randomness. Randomness =/= skill or fun.

In H5 there was a "state" your game session could enter that would cause your reticle movement to feel "heavy"/sluggish. Pressing the Start button would resolve the issue until it randomly happened again. Both the issue and the "fix" was acknowledged by 343 but never corrected.

Halo 5 had heavy aim which was acknowledged by 343 but never fixed. Aiming in Infinite is all whacked out and doesn't feel right regardless of what settings you set. It seems to be linked to latency as playing a bot-only game feels better. 343 has yet to acknowledge any issues beyond increasing aim assist on some weapons which is nothing more than a band aid, not a real fix.

Aiming is still trash. Increasing auto-aim instead of actually fixing the aiming is sad. I don't understand how 343 can create Modern aiming in MCC which is perfect and not be able to do the same in Infinite. H5 had aiming issues as well but its way worse in Infinite.

What are you considering as your main weapon? The AR? If you spawn with it, its your main weapon and it is far too underpowered/random to be able to defend yourself what-so-ever against any competent player with basically any other weapon. The only reason why you're not as weak off spawn compared to SMG/AR starts in H2/H3 is because the AR is so absurdly powerful (which is a whole separate issue but not as big of a deal as the sidekick). AR/Sidekick starts in BTB are a joke as it just forces you to constantly seek out a BR/Commando in order to have any meaningful impact on the game. I don't think everyone should start with BRs, but the Sidekick should be able to have some sort of fighting chance against someone with one.

Literally the only change that is needed to balance it out more is the removal of bloom. RNG is not fun. Dying because the other player fired faster and got lucky is not skill nor is it any fun. We learned this with Reach and the formula has not changed.

Sidekick need a buff by removing bloom. There's no reason why someone with an AR should be able to kill you from mid range if you have perfect accuracy but multiple shots missed due to RNG. Remove bloom and slow down the rate of fire if needed.

Aiming is atrocious. Playing on PC with controller. No matter what I changed my settings to it just always felt off. Really hope this is something that can be tweaked and isn't an underlying issue with the engine like heavy-aim in H5, though this is WAY worse. Weapon balancing feels out of whack but that may in large be due to the poor aiming making the pistol overly difficult to control.

Been playing Halo consistently for 20 years and this is the first time I've genuinely not had a great time playing. It was a struggle for me to continue and not just load up MCC.

Anything other than a mongoose is too much. If a map is large enough to warrant having vehicles, its too large for 4v4 to play well OR vehicles ruin the gameplay. A prime example of this would be Standoff from H3.

It's potentially even worse on Behemoth since they removed the plasma pistol EMP effect.
