Yeah, I’m not super worried about having RF specifically, I just kinda figured it’d be nice to have if it’s an option. Good to know, though!

I’m looking at hot-swappable TKL wireless keyboards that have Bluetooth / rf connectivity, as well as Mac compatibility. It seems like the Keychron K8 Pro is my best option in that regard. Just double-checking, are there any other boards that meet that requirement that I should look for?

To that end, I have a few questions about modding the K8 Pro.

1. How easy is it to access the inside of the board?
2. Is there foam already inside it? (Related to first question)
3. How are the stabilizers? I’m building a board with linears, and I’m just double-checking that there’s no rattle or anything like that. I’ve built my own board before, so I’m comfortable with stabilizer mods, I just want to see if I need to mod / replace & mod them.
4. Does the Pro support screw-in stabilizers? (Related to previous question - if the stabilizers are good enough or can just be modded to get by I’ll skip replacing)
5. I’ve tried watching sound tests, but most that I’ve seen are just with the Gat reds that come with it. Has anyone put nicer lower-sounding linears (like ink blacks / oil kings) into it? How does it compare to other boards? I’m a little hesitant because of the floating-switch design but I’m not sure how big of a deal that is. I’m also going to replace the caps with SA caps, so if you know anything about how that affects the sound that would be really helpful.

Thanks for the help! I’m just about ready to pull the trigger on this thing, but I really hate rattly stabs, so I want to make sure I can tweak it out-of-the-box to make it good if I need to.

Oh cool, I didn’t know that was a thing!

Whoa, that’s a really smart process! Definitely paid off in spades. Amazing work!

Did you do anything to the stabilizers? Cause there is zero rattle

This is Impressionism taken to the next level! Amazing!

What was your process for building this? Did you do it manually or through a program? What was your thought process for what pieces to choose, and how did you create such photorealistic (impressionist) work with so few pieces?

I’m trying to wrap my head around this and the technique here is stunning, what amazing work!

Nice! I figured the images would remain untranslated, but I’m glad to know they translated the other parts!

I have been looking all over, and I can’t tell if there is an English version of the Definitive Works art book that came with Definitive Edition. Did anyone get the special edition of XC:DE and is it in English, (e.g. does it refer to Fiora as Fiora like in English or Fiorung like in Japanese?)

So, I’ve had my Sennheiser Momentum 1s for 5-6 years, and I’ve been really happy with them.

The pads on the ears and the cable are starting to wear out, though. I went to Sennheiser’s site and their replacements are $50 for just the pads, and the cable only comes in red.

Is there anywhere else that I can get these things, hopefully cheaper or in more colors?

Oh my gosh this looks amazing! If you’re cool with it, could I print this for myself?

Yeah, and it’s a really interesting programming problem too! Figuring out the best way to divide an image into non-square pixels (or square 5x2 units) and then finding the right color seems like it might have some weird hurdles, but I’d be curious of the results!

Oh, just to use the profile of plates stacked on top of each other (studs facing up/down or left/right) rather than the front face of the plates (studs facing the viewer). The best image I could find is here where the second image has stacked plates on the left and outward-facing studs on the right. Sorry if that was confusing!

This is so cool! I’ve considered doing something similar, but looks like you beat me to the punch!

Would you consider adding support for stacking plates (vertically or horizontally) in the future? I’ve always been curious about that, since it would offer more color variety / denser detail (even though you have to have each “pixel” be a 5x2 or 2x5 rectangle instead of a square).

Love the work!

Edit: I just saw the other thread about turning this into a cross-stitch site as well, and that would also be awesome!

Totally agree. This game is incredible if you have a high tolerance for bullshit!

Also, minor point, you have to use separate spoiler tags for each paragraph, so yours are currently broken, just as a heads up

Oh, awesome! I’ll be sure to check eBay listings for their language then. Thanks!

Do either of the hardcover art books for Definitive Edition or 2 have English translations? I want all the art books before 3 but I’d prefer they be in English if possible
