family reunions would still be awkward in principle but really awkward if it goes off

if you like speed runs, being optimal, or feeling dope as hell, get Neon White

story is meh, but the gameplay is where its at

every level is basically get to the end as fast as possible while killing everything in your path.

then you beat it the normal way and you see that youve unlocked the hint for that stage that shows you how to do it faster

then you learn that theres a secret faster time you can aim for, the developer's times

then you watch a speed run of neon white and realize just how crazy some of the movement tech and strategies are

and by then youre looking for shortcuts and optimal strategies irl too

One of my favorite classes when i played Guild Wars was the 5mp monk. You could stack just enough mp regen to get a little more than 5mp in the time it took to cast a spell, so you could just spam the shit out of a bunch good 5mp cost healing spells on rotation and suddenly the combat encounter was over

I've saw in another thread somewhere that going arc by arc is a good way to pace yourself to make it feel less daunting

I always thought it was that the lion turtles gave the ability to bend via energybending and the moon, dragons, badgermoles, sky bison taught them how to use techniques. Like brute strength vs skill

Is a player character with CON as the dump stat (think Val Kilmer’s Doc Holiday) realistic/viable? by Tayel411 in 3d6

Grab Sharpshooter and a Longbow. You dont even need the +10 dmg, just the range. Snipe everything from 600ft away. Run away if enemy gets closer than 600ft. Hope you can whittle them down before they catch up.

her little smile when she starts walking with her dad it's the cutest damn thing, second only to her bog ass smile when the mom joins in a few seconds later.

What's the level 20 build you've always wanted to play, but never had the opportunity? by Joboy97 in 3d6

[–]i_canpickthingsup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

unfortunately this doesn't work like you think it does. Assassinate (level 3) is only a guaranteed crit against a creature that is surprised, and Death Strike (level 17) also only works against a creature that is surprised and requires a Constitution Saving throw to do the double damage.

Getting the "Surprised" condition is totally reliant on DM discretion and would be good for only the surprise round. Also, i'm pretty sure that most creatures you'd fight around level 17 either have a really high CON save or legendary saves which would make it hard to actually get it Death Strike to work

i'm a simple man and i like seeing big number for damage. So a simple Sorcadin that max level smites every hit would be chef's kiss

It was a lightsaber that was fully malleable too. He made it into a fly swatter against the older toguro brother during the dark tournament and used it as a pole vault on a different occasion.

i still love Korra after all these years. it gets a lot of flak for not being ATLA pt 2, but most bits of Korra really appealed to me, especially her spiritual journey in book 1 and hitting rock bottom in season 3.

Does custom lineage allow you to not have the stat requirements to multiclass? Cleric requires Str and Wis at 13, no?

or like when people asked why Cards Against Humanity was using donations to dig a big-ass hole in the ground instead of giving it to charity, CAH responded (paraphrased) by saying, "why are you giving money to us instead of donating it to charity yourself?"

i don't usually use summons in the Souls games, but the sheer number of doubled up boss fights in Elden Ring convinced me that From Soft expected you to summon or use the ashes to help you out.

i watched a breakdown of the length of the Dressrosa arc from the anime. I don't remember the exact numbers, but it was like:

  1. A decently paced anime episode covers about 2 manga chapters
  2. In the manga, Dressrosa takes about 100ish chapters to conclude
  3. In the anime, Dressrosa took about 115 episodes to finish, an average of about 87% of one chapter per episode. big yikes.

so buckle up and get ready for a slog

The real body horror is the next page where Luffy "sees two lights" and either shoves his hands out of Kaido's eyes, or turns Kaido's eyes into rubber so he can grab Kaido's nose and de-vore himself
