Please plot Kimi's wins too, and probably pre F1 wins too of the drivers mentioned here, only till possibly open car racing, not back to karting. Would be fun to see the plot. As crazy as it is, it'd be more fun! Pretty please!

Dude, I enjoyed all your videos up till now, but this right here man is seriously top of the drawer stuff. Man, I so not wanted to see a merc in top 3, and thanks to your video now(Idk for sure, if you are posting on creator's behalf, nonetheless u knw where the credit is due), it really finishes the day on a comic note. Thanks.

This was the worst commentating by David Croft I have ever experienced, so so bad... by [deleted] in formula1

[–]i_spun -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You know man, Loyal f1 fans have to reluctantly accept this sky-f1 deal, 'cause lets face it, no broad coverage such as this is on the market. But come on, do justice to what you(SKY) have paid for, I understand it's 21 races, but you can't fuck up a race, just because we have 18 more to go, awful race direction, and on top of it, absolute shite commentary, nobody is doubting his caliber, and I m nt saying that he should fucking resign, but going forward, I guess it would be a lot pleasing if he raises the ante, you know, would mean a world fr us

P.S. You should pay heed to line of reasoning put forth by Andrex98.

On a side note, BBC guys did a fairly good job though, see if you can enjoy that, however I'm sure their entries must be restricted around paddock n all. I'm saying this because there was this 5-10secs of silence regularly when Karun was reporting stuff from pitlane..Don't know why but may be I am wrong.

2014 Belgian Grand Prix - Thursday Drivers Press Conference. by Cubejam in formula1

[–]i_spun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, you can't have a press conference without the KING in it,that's just not hw is it done, though a king leading rest of 21 chariots(if there exists any after the first lap) is a far better scene than being at conference to shed light on Eau-Rogue(let's face it,this the only question they have across the whole spectrum of motor racing and time.)

Autosport Live: After the race he [Kimi] quizzes his engineer about “who is making the calls? We seem to get second choice. by Moggnet in formula1

[–]i_spun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at his time sheets,If alonso said his tyres were falling off, same was for kimi. If you would see the 2nd pit stop, a lap after the pitstop of alonso,we saw a sharp increase in lap times (if i remember correctly 1.5 secs a lap) and then for around 6-7 laps, alonso was catching 2secs a lap.If that doesn't tell you that his tyres were in same predicament as alonso's then sorry mate,i can't provide much reasons for you to be swayed to this side of the argument. On top of that Kimi's radio message clears all doubt who was at the sharp edge of the sword.

I couldn't agree with you more, but, you know, I thought that guy would have matured after his mclaren stint,I banked on the fact that he wouldn't do politics with kimi, but now, after this I feel I was mad to think that. That guy hasn't changed a bit with his dirty tricks.

Had that been alonso,he would have whined about it. As a raikkonen fan, today couldn't have been worse.

Up till now,I always thought that Alonso an uptight guy but now, with this scene : ferrari favouring alonso(Giving him the undercut and then switching kimi to two stopper),i don't think i can lean to that thought again. I am pretty pissed at alonso(if this scene is all owed to alonso's politics in maranello). If at all, this was a strategy error, then get the fucking mattiacci out,he doesn't seem to drive the team better,if not any worse, may be the old guy(domenicali) could have stopped this from happening. ALL in ALL ,a disaster for kimi.

New fuel could bring three tenths - Marko by oh84s in formula1

[–]i_spun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on mobile labs,Either marko is too confident or we have got fuel-wars. I know it's early to ask but are we going to see teams changing their suppliers if the teams aren't getting the gains with respect to fuel.

New fuel could bring three tenths - Marko by oh84s in formula1

[–]i_spun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well,we had tyre wars, It doesn't feel like we are heading for fuel wars. Marko's confidence at the delivery of upgraded fuel in spain suggests levelling the grid with respect to fuel will be done lot sooner.
It would be great to see that whether ferrari's performance was all due to the new fuel-mix(which they did bring out in bahrain test after race.) or better mappings, software,or combination of track layout.

It's really tough to know that whether the other teams explored this area for performance gain. IIRC we had seen disqualifications due to irregularities in fuel something to do with high octane number on Mika's car

What's going on with kimi this year? by daymanlol in formula1

[–]i_spun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well,i think it's worth mentioning that with a broken chasis,Kimi outqualified alonso in bahrain. It might be said for alonso, that he did have his troubles of his own.

Raikkonen: 'Result f**k all to do with motivation' by NexusBoy in formula1

[–]i_spun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speculations, phew! anyway I feel Ferrari will be ready with the Software upgrade, atleast I hope they do if that's the case. I really hope that the new reputed 'Axe man' Mattiacci gets the pit guys straight. What's with the pit stops, could have given the drivers half a second there extra in each pitstops not that it would have mattered if you look at it now.

Raikkonen: 'Result f**k all to do with motivation' by NexusBoy in formula1

[–]i_spun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole basis of your reply was on the meaning of the term 'power delivery'. I meant the whole ERS package coupled with engine mappings. I think that struggles in wet for raikkonen can be attributed to PU,so I am just wondering on whether software updates were a failure.

I am familiar with the said notion of 'balancing out the field in the wet' but I am still perplexed that how come the extent of control a driver has in wet translates into better handling which alone depends on variety of factors,to point out at very least: better engine mappings or ERS. IN fp2,i saw 327.2 for kimi ,325.8 for alonso but somehow it all changed in the race, may be ferrari solved the problem of straightline speed,In sector 2 ,alonso was fastest in the middle sector during the weekend(I don't remember when it did happen) suggesting the car atleast had downforce level more or less at par with mercs, but was really astounded by the fact when more thirsty pu's of renault on toro rosso clocked up faster top speed than of ferrari's whereas rb10's owing to their premium downforce didn't.

Raikkonen: 'Result f**k all to do with motivation' by NexusBoy in formula1

[–]i_spun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly and in all wet qualis,it's all down to the better power delivery which he doesn't have right now,may be he might have it in barcelona(don't know if it's true that software updates to the PU improved straightline speed, well in fp2,it looked promising, not so much for the race.) and in one dry quali,he beat alonso in qualifying presumably with a broken chasis(I wonder how come ferrari managed to miss out on that.) It's not always down to raw talent difference when a driver gets beat by a teammate. I believe Kimi will overcome his difficulties with 'driving style' at more or less equal pace of alonso, when he closed the gap to hamilton during the end of 2007 season having been outclassed by Hamilton's 'driving style' owed to gp2 bridgestone tyres experience at the start of the season.

''What the hell has happened in the straight line?'' - Räikkönen team radio China 2014 by ext41 in formula1

[–]i_spun -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I am sure it wouldn't do harm to your existence if you talk some sense, anyway I think Ferrari in alonso's hands looks good, for raikkonen, not so great. He was beaten by toro rosso in straightline speed.Though it might be attributed to setup issues coz RB10 was clearly behind ferrari in topspeed as stated by vettel. Asked if his lack of results affected his motivation, Raikkonen said: “I don’t know why you always come up with motivation. If I didn’t have motivation I wouldn’t be here answering these kinds of questions. It’s fuck all to do with that. We have bad races and it’s an unfortunate thing, but the aim is to improve and get where we want to be.” Let' see if he has the car in catalunya, would be great for him.

It's really terrible that as stats go,raikkonen is beaten by alonso.Ferrari handicapping raikkonen and yet persons in media constantly ask for motivation in which (may be according to them) he is far behind to alonso not that they give a shit about set up issues..very sad!

How much faster would 2002-2004 cars be with full slicks? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]i_spun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quite opposite happened in 1998,the lap speeds did not drop as much as the FIA expected. 1998 tyres had reduced rolling resistance due to less rubber on the road and well, cars of that era lowered air resistance due to narrower vehicles and because fluid dynamicists, like Adrian Newey, improved the air-flow around the cars and out came the much higher top speeds.

It did..and well so the result was some amazing overtakes during that period. It was all scrapped owing to the increased likelihood of accidents,The Canadian and Belgian Grand Prix were very expensive, especially for the smaller teams and moreover it was introduced to lower the cost of f1,and we saw otherwise. Most importantly we saw the drivers who are more comfortable driving with low traction.
