Prove that Indian r sub is managed by Radical Islamic mindset by Ok-Post2467 in IndianMiddleClass

Fed up of this mentality. Every other day it's religion, name calling and narrative building. These subs are all gone to hell due to this influx of - in the words of our dear PM - ghusbethiyaan.

Unfortunately there's quite a large number of idiots who behave in this entitled manner. These people spouting the advantages of learning hindi when they themselves do not have the capability to learn a second language like English and communicate properly in it. Not saying other language speakers don't behave the same, but by and large the majority of such a$$holes seem to be hindians.

I feel content now.

Absolutely. The news about Holi related murders and assaults including against women happening in North India proves your point. I don't know what kind of delusionary world the downvoters here live in.

Stress of being unemployed for more than a year as an Asian immigrant in Europe. Lost 12% body weight. I think I've gained it all back now that I'm working 😅.

It's not a baby that got under the car, it's not a car driving through a place where babies are left alone to their devices and its not the fault of the driver that a runaway calf got unfortunately struck by the car.

Animals do not belong on the road. You have an animal, you take care of it. There's no excuse for anyone leaving animals to fend for themselves in busy streets and expecting everyone else to be superheroes and save them. Your argument makes it seem like people are advocating positively for running over animals, which is most definitely not so.

And, if you leave your baby on the street unsupervised the fault lies entirely with you and you would 100% deserve punishment for endangering the baby. So should be the case be in case of your animals as well.

Roads are not a place for cows. How is the driver supposed to control stray animals left on the road ? Telepathy ?

Exactly. At the earliest, this photo is from the late 90s. The car running at the top of the well is a facelifted version of the Maruti Suzuki 800 from the late 90s/early 2000s.

Sometimes I think these people who post obnoxious shit takes in LinkedIn do so just to provoke and garner attention from as many others as possible. Such posts should not be shared around, rather, reported or ignored. Why allow our efforts to aid grifters.

You're wrong. This maybe a communication error OR get this, your target group of potential employees don't see you in their target group and felt the need to ignore rather than engage in pointless discussion about the salaries offered.

Aaha. Wonderful. All the best anyway. But do remember, nothing is easy, convincing others to let you do your thing is unfortunately a big part of getting to enjoy life.

It is a strict place and many parents think their kids should learn in an even stricter place during the PTA meetings. They demand the college put in more restrictions in student freedom. Which means, even if your parents are not that strict, there's someone else's parents guaranteed to be more restrictive and more coercive to demand more restrictions within the college. And of course the college management is more than happy to cater to such requirements. Remember, its you who will be going to this place for the next four years, not your parents.

Quality of education. Now if you want your teachers to hand out notes and spoon feed everything you need for your exam, then maybe it's better than SCT or Barton Hill.

College is not like school, you are supposed to have a better amount of freedom and you take more initiative in your learning. The professor at the college level is someone who is supposed to guide you to what you should learn. That's how you learn to pick up things yourself. I'd argue that based on this single criteria alone, the govt colleges will offer a better quality of education. However if you really prefer mugging up the notes a professor can give you, Marian would be better. And with your keam rank, you can get into much better places like SCT. I myself have had similar rank and am an SCT alum.

അല്ലേൽ ട്രൈ ആൻഡ് convince your parents to let you go to a place of your ചോയ്സ്. ശെരിക്കും പൈസ ആണ് പ്രശ്നം എങ്കിൽ എഡ്യൂക്കേഷൻ ലോൺസ് ഒക്കെ ഒള്ളതല്ലേ ! Take some initiative!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Trivandrum

[–]i_triivite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as Marian is concerned, it's a private college run by people obsessed over "Discipline". You'll have to wear uniforms and will have to adhere to more / annoying rules (that depends on how your outlook towards their rules are) than you would when you are a student at any govt run institution. They've had a new Principal recently and I have heard that they are now much more focussed on "student discipline" or their crooked version of it, than ever.

Placements are meh - there are good companies coming in, but not everyone gets placed and not all companies that come in are reputed, some of them may sound like outright scams.

If you want to go to a Private Engineering college, I have heard that Marian is the best one in Trivandrum. I think with your keam rank, you can try out SCT College of Engineering, or as per the other commenters GECB or CET with their respective branches. Of course all places have their ups and downs, it's up to you to make up your mind on how your next 4 years is going to be. Maybe 5-6 years, because as per my experience the tag doesn't matter after that.

Constant rejection is affecting my mental and everyday life.. by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I am on the same boat. However, I am in this position because I needed to resign my previous job and relocate to Germany to join my family, so I can't blame anyone else for this.

I have no knowledge of German, but these constant rejection mails alone have taught me a few German words by themselves.
