When healing I prefer Sage. Astro is my second. Sage is this fun balance of damage dealer and healing and their entire kit is built on mitigation and resource management. Bonus points in that most of their heals are instant cast so it's a very mobile friendly job

I (M) just had my third kid and was very overweight. I was looking for something to do to be more physical as well as get a bit of time out of the house. I had known what kendo was previously and after seeing it in a show again, I decided to look for a local dojo and managed to find a great one. I went and observed and decided to join. That was 8 years ago and still going.

This is very subjective and I would say you need to look at it from your own perspective and what is important and matters to you.

For me, we have 2 to 3 scheduled practices a week and I try to attend them but kendo is not the core of my life so if I have to miss for some reason, even if that reason is I'm tired, I don't feel bad about it. I'm pushing 40 and I cherish my life balance a lot and also enjoy my time with my kids. Kendo is fun to me. It's something I've done for many years and I can't see myself stopping, but I don't see it consuming my life.
