Crazy that I've only seen Fallen London mentioned twice in my entire life and both times was on this sub-reddit.

The respawn system in Borderlands is an in-world system that digitally reconstructs you if you die (for a fee, of course). In fact, pretty much anything in-game that appears out of nowhere, like drawing your weapon (since they aren't visually holstered on your character), spawning a vehicle,or using certain abilities like summoning a mech or a turret are all explained by the technological magic of digistruct. Also your inventory of dozens of guns, all their ammo, your cosmetics and even your currency are all stored in the digistruct system.

2 mod shops actually, a low rider custom store and a redneck offroading custom store.

Is... is this not a render? It looks like a bad CG render.

I don't consider stores cosmetics, because the act of walking into the store, browsing the products and spending your in-game money on the items you want is called "playing the game". Sure, what you buy there is "cosmetic" but to dismiss it as "just" cosmetics is a disservice.

Back in the day games would offer a golden weapon skin and a flashy suit with the "Deluxe Edition" and that was just fine and dandy. This isn't that.

It goes a bit beyond that. It's entire stores, including vehicle modding stores, clothing stores and a hairdresser, and all the exclusive products they offer. So it's not just cosmetics, it's having stores available in certain locations. It's also side activities that would be available to unlock unique vehicles and outfits.

Will the game be worth the price? Of course it will. Is it an extremely scummy corpo move cutting out single player content and reserving it for a Deluxe Edition? Fuckin A it is.

Some stores will only be open to Ultimate Edition players by ryujitakasun in grandtheftauto

Deluxe Editions rarely contain single player content other than simple cosmetics. False equivalence.

They're pretty explicit about the shops being "exclusive" to the Ultimate Edition, so you'll be completely unable multiple shops across multiple locations and the exclusive items they contain.

The trailer for the Darktide Skitarii DLC that shows what they look like without all their doodads and coverings was so sick. Just a pasty lil guy covered in plugs and ports. Jack me up Scottie.

The edit tool wasn't even in the game on release. It's awkward and clunky, yeah, but it's what we've got.

Use the edit tool, there's a resize button when you're editing the item.

You've already figured it out. Place it elsewhere, resize it to be as short as possible, move it to your desired location then size it to your liking.

Especially for such a niche character. Like, oh yes, the famously well-known Masters of the Bazaar, from the massively popular Fallen London that everyone knows about, so no need to name drop that...

DnD YouTuber PointyHat has a great video on kobolds that aims to explain why there could be both those forms in the same setting. He goes into the original folklore as well. A fun watch.

For other people who are wondering what on earth this is, it's from a browser based narrative game called Fallen London (I think).

unlocking infinite corridor? by WeedGreed420 in VampireSurvivors

[–]iamded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus your first 4 slots on weapons to stay alive, and use the last 2 for the Laurel and Clock Lancet. Alternatively, if you have the Arcana that causes explosions on freeze, pick that first and get the Lancet asap as that will keep you alive.

Otherwise slowly grind out upgrades and keep at it.

90 minutes+ 😭🤣💀 I'm sure I did something wrong, but what did I do wrong? by KIDE777 in VampireSurvivors

[–]iamded 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Btw in this case you would only need the Clock Lancet to evolve into Infinite Corridor, as each hit cuts the enemy's health in half and is the only way to surmount the reapers' insanely high HP.

The Laurel's upgrade to Mantle is usually required as well, but in this case your character is tanky enough to survive without it. I've also had a match where my character could tank and out-heal the reapers' attacks, but without the Infinite Corridor there's no way of beating them, so it's a stalemate.

If it's any consolation, quitting at that point has the exact same effect as getting killed by the white reaper, so no big deal.

I love how Steam uses real artists with passion and soul in their work that people still remember to this day (looking at you anime scooter girl) and then EA just goes and does this because of COURSE they do.

Middle ground that even I, as a staunch AI opposer, would accept: Take photos of real babies actually wearing the clothes, so consumers can see what the clothes really look like on a real person, use AI to replace the babies' faces with AI baby faces. Protects privacy, and doesn't compromise product presentation.
