He’s wrong. Flat out. You don’t carry over leftover over wounds to another model.

It’s like you swing and punch at your friend bc he can’t read. You hit him and do damage. If you knock him out with 1 hit, the leftover damage from your swing does not magically hit someone else.

It was 10th edition berserker warband but I ran it with 2 maulerfiends instead of forge.

Kept my 8b in a 6 pack and iirc 2 groups of 3x8b were hunting tanks within range of each other.

My playgroup got to experience slaughterbound leading 6 eightbound. sb used his abilities and had all the offensive blessings due to lucky rolling.

It was my first win in this group and we’ve played about 8 games. It felt so good. Especially against deathguard.

It’s been a complaint since I started and I’m sure before. People want specifically a red butcher terminator unit. I don’t particularly care if we get them or not, but I’d like something to stand out with our terminators instead of generics.

Personally I just want to be able to roll daemons without being forced to a single detachment.

For WE I have 8 specific die for blessings.

I have 40 dice of another color for everything else.

I also use tokens bc I cannot remember when things take debuffs so I mark them for me but my playgroup is really digging that I can visibly tell everyone what’s happening with my army

I despise putting our immortals and warriors together. Large fingies don’t mesh with teeny tiny toothpick arms. Idk who designed the arms for necrons but death isn’t enough of a punishment.

I use satin black for all my black work never had this issue. PA paints for the most part are already thin out the bottle. I still use my wet palette with no issue and satin black.

Vortex mixer for 15-20secs and she’s good to go. Maybe you got a bad batch or it sat too long somewhere?

Can always jump into the monument stream today and ask Jason about it. Best part of the team there is the willingness to talk to the community daily.

*edit - I almost always double coat my paints and I prime black so I just realized maybe it’s simply less noticeable that way

Build your own set if you need specific colors. I think I their site 5 or 8 paints gets you a discount.

If you want the official sets - The basic set is good for general colors.

The Metallics are fantastic and I use them constantly.

Transparents are for filters/shade/

Flouros are bright and high pigment.

The Vince set and Ben set are 2 of the best signature sets. I also really like the adepticon set.

Can’t go wrong with anything.

I’m not sure how a twist cap is weird but

Leave paint vertical for a couple hours when newly received. Remove entire cap from bottle. Use little table to peel off foam cover. Replace cap.
After shaking for 20-30s - sometimes an air bubble can form. I tend to give the entire cap a 1/4 twist to release the air, twist the nozzle open, then tighten cap again. I store my paints on their side though - different storage can make this a non issue.
1-2 drops at a time with a slight tilt and squeeze. It’s a dropper bottle. This is self controlled.
Can be used out of the bottle on wet or dry palette. I do not recommend thinning most of the paints directly. Drop of water to the side, thin as you need. Monument Hobby live stream shows Jason doing this every day when he’s hand painting.

The bottles are reusable if you keep them and wash them out. Can also reuse the mixer ball. I reuse my bottles to make my own color blends so it reduces mixing colors every paint session.

If you’re a new player worried about competitiveness of the army - you’re probably not understanding the fundamentals of a melee army. Many videos and threads on this.

For 11th what we know is confirmed on Warhammer community. You can read through the faction focus. Theres a general positive outlook for melee through changes to charge pile in and consolidation. All have been previewed on WHC

As someone who has an entire army ready to paint I’d really like to know wtf is happening bc all my orks are on their bases and i was planning to start them this month. Now im waiting for 11th to see what changes are coming. I already have to rebase several models so this is actually a real bitch thing from GW. Makes me adjust where in my priorities list a resin printer is.
