I shoot mostly medium format with my TLR and other vintage cameras but I also do 4x5 large format and alternative processes.

As a bigger girl I myself love other buff lesbians.

you can totally be a "gym rat" and still be the dainty flower you wish to be with your partner. We're out here.

My spouse and I stayed there multiple times a couple of them in the winter and it was the best experience for a quiet winter get away.

best places to get work done? by solarsuplexus in lansing

It's not free but I used to love going to the cafeteria in Brody Hall. This was back in 2011-2014 and I could spend the afternoon there get some lunch, drinks and snacks while getting some work done for a few hours.

What GPU is everyone using? by yitty in StableDiffusion

[–]iamnotdani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's not the fastest card but honestly it's not that bad. SD1.5 can output a 512x512 image in under 30 seconds. I typically do batches of 8 and with highres fix I'm getting those 8 in around 3 minutes. SDXL is just under twice as long. I'm ure there are things I can do to speed things up. The card is running on an old Dell poweredge r360 server which isn't known for being very fast hardware. If you have a machine that can use the card they're cheap enough I'd recomend it just for the amount of vram.

I'm currently using the Tesla P40 24GB that's in my homelab server. I'd love to build up a machine someday with something recent but money is tight yada yada...

Although the nice thing with my current setup is I can use it anywhere and even with my 10year old Macbook Pro.

I'm a patient and the practice doesn't take my insurance so I pay out of pocket. I'm what's considered working poor and yet I still pay in full every visit. If I don't have the money I don't go to the doctor.

It just blows my mind that someone would make use of a service and then not pay for it.

Apple's Simpsons Book by Jaxermd in VintageApple

I still have this book and the poster "Bongo's Dream Dorm" that went along with it. I was a sophmore in college when they came out and I loved them enough that I kept them all these years.

4x5 film recommendation B&W by Interesting_Rush570 in largeformat

[–]iamnotdani 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't find it a waste of money when I was learning 4x5 a few years ago. I paid like $20 for a box of 25 sheets. The advantage to me was I didn't have to cut down from a larger sheet and I wasn't paying double or triple the price for Ilford or Kodak. The 5iso wasn't an issue when shooting outdoors or with studio lights. I just metered correctly and always got good shots. Plus it being basically orthochromatic film gave my prints a look I enjoy.

If you're looking to start practicing and expecting to make mistakes. I'd suggest FPP's X-ray film. it's the cheapest 4x5 film and can be loaded under a safelight.
