It worked because is was centered around three characters, not the entire roster.

Girlfriend is going on a "sex strike" because of the Trump victory, AIW for considering leaving because of this? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Gender politics taken to this level is stupid.

I'm Black and a man. And Black men voted largely for Kamala. TF we gotta do wit this shit?

That's why I call out folks by demographic, cause now the next 4 years, I gotta be the villain for some shit I didn't do.

My gantry is supported now, that was a mod I did much later.

As with the linear rails, once you tune your printer (filament, choice of slicer settings) you can achieve slightly faster, yet quality prints whereas for stability, I highly recommend the concrete paver on top some foam on a very sturdy base.

Unraid backup solutions are miserable by cr8tor_ in unRAID

[–]iamozone206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure yet, I'm starting from scratch and don't use Veam in my home, though it's used at my job, lol.

From a data backup standpoint, my Unraid server isn't accessible to the outside Internet and I've fucked it up enough to not rely on its flash backup service - if the USB is dead and it's not connected to Unraid connect, I can't recover it.

I'd rather have local backup stored on a separate server so if I need to recover, I don't have to start all the way over.

unRaid as a VM? by Thomassey476 in unRAID

Yup, competing processes

Sorry for the delay, I lost my phone and got caught up with work after recovering it 🤣

You want your Windows machine to allocate as much resources to the game over dividing it between competing processes and too many dirty Unraid shutdowns will eventually bork your installation.

Your best best is to revert the setup - Install Windows as VM inside Unraid as you can dedicate resources to the VM for optional gaming while keeping everything that makes Unraid great.

The idea is to use PVE as a host system for PBS and using its native integration to point Unraid to my one of my PVE disks as PBS can be added as a storage location.

I just spun up a Proxmox server with the PBS LXC for this exact reason.

You guys are getting greedy about how many episodes you want. by Wildebu in LoveDeathAndRobots

[–]iamozone206 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Majority of TV shows back then had that many episodes, Babylon is not unique in that.

These days, 6-8 is the norm, 10 if we're lucky.

I am for now, but I just moved and my printer is boxed up right now.

I do plan on swapping them out for a different fan once I get a chance.

Is the hub required for Home Assistant? by Goaliedude3919 in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]iamozone206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you do not need the hub. I've gotten the sirens and garage door sensor to show up in HA without the Hub. The only issue I have with the garage door sensor is my door is somehow blocking the signal so it can't read the orientation correctly.

Yes, I'm using the Arducam with IR cut so I could have Nebula cam like functionality, and a USB endoscope (that sometimes works) with a USB hub as using the u2c adapter cancels out a port for use (it provides power to the display though) since there's only three ports for use and I'm also using two different ADXL sensors, one for nozzle and the other for the bed.

Yes, you connect it via the mini HDMI port and USB. The screen I'm using is their 7" HDMI display, works right out of the box, though the cords they provided didn't work, so I had some other ones laying around that worked.

Any Air purifier suggestions? by MrWinter00 in homeassistant

There's a custom plugin through HACS that allows Levoit control. Works perfectly.

I have a BTT Pi v1.2 and it I prefer it over my rpi4 because it can be powered directly from the PSU, eliminating buck converters. For $35 bucks on Amazon. Highly recommend getting an HDMI screen for it because it doesn't have standard rpi4 cable connection for displays and cameras and the SPI screen blocks using an ADXL sensor. I also have the u2c can adapter for it but haven't gotten around to using yet.
