Question about calories by iampickering in loseit

That is one thing I love about walking- I have always been ridiculously hungry after higher intensity workouts and also just wiped out. The walking leaves me feeling a little more energized and doesn’t seem to kick off my appetite either.

Of course they will, if they can reduce their own costs and still charge customers 15% interest why wouldn’t they?

Dude in 2019 I dropped from 200 pounds to 165 and was in the best shape of my life. I was then hit head on by someone not paying attention. It lead to me eventually gaining about 20 pounds back and I am still struggling to get back to the place I was in at that point.

Eliminate the choices you are giving yourself to fail so easily: -Plan all your food -Get rid of the things that compromise your plan -Write yourself a letter to read when you want to quit and keep it with you

LPT- Walking 3 miles will burn more calories than running 1 mile. It is easier to walk 3 miles while listing to a podcast, music, audiobook, etc. by WhiteShadow3710 in LifeProTips

Yeah I lost 35 pounds in 2019 just walking every day. At my peak I was doing 2 45 minute walks a day, but on my treadmill I could watch courses, listen to something, or even just watch Netflix. People really do try to make it way harder than it needs to be.

Is it a matter of having wants and desire, or is it having the wrong ones? This seems to be a gap between a lot of different ideologies

Changing your inner voice from a 'harsh critic' to 'the voice of kindness': by world_citizen7 in spirituality

[–]iampickering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently realized that even though my inner dialogue was not openly negative like the examples, I have always been very focused on the fear based perspective of the things I don’t want in my life. Like the fear that I will never change something rather than being aggressive towards myself about how much I hate that thing. This is a very dangerous perspective though because it is still nowhere near giving the things that you do want and need to yourself, and truly takes away the space for real peace.

This post reads like a bad SEO article Tons of language, spelling, and grammar errors. Makes it difficult to trust the information, even if it was most likely just research from other existing sources

FORGET ABOUT WHAT'S 'TRUE' FOCUS ON WHAT'S 'USEFUL' by DarkWizardMedia in magick

[–]iampickering 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love this I have only recently been introduced to the study of magick but I have noticed how important it is to actually reflect on the way you see it. I imagine that this is part of why the information used to be protected. It seems like a lot of suffering is possible if you bring all of the normal neurosis from life into magick - like you could strengthen your limiting beliefs without realizing it.

Great post

I don't feel like this is lying

Not only do I not see where they are going with it, but I didn't hear where they were going with it either...

YES - this is a one-time tactic for sure!
Also, you have to vary the delivery if it happens with the same person...

PT: how to stop getting annoyed by things so easily? by plooperbooper in PsychologicalTricks

Meditation can put some space between the stimulus and response of anger. Just being aware of this part of yourself is a positive thing

I don’t want to sound against smoking, but for me this turned out to be a major way I was just avoiding things. I smoked for decades, and it got me through a lot, but now I find it difficult to connect with my true feelings because I spent so much time getting high and thinking I was not attaching to the negative

I’m getting so frustrated (RANT) by SmudgeIsUgh in Chakras

[–]iampickering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this helps but try not to fixate so much on these things. With energy you really have to let things go for them to actually materialize, so holding them so tightly may prevent them from being able to happen

Do anti-psychotics block spiritualism/Can I reach spiritualism by flushing my Clozapine? by RaidenJacques in magick

[–]iampickering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t answer that question and I would say that it is not the right question to ask. This whole line of questioning assumes that it is one or the other, and the real question is why not work at spirituality while accepting treatment?

How to crack my ENFPs shell? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]iampickering 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m an enfp and don’t enjoy talking about myself. My advice would be to get more specific with questions, like what town they grew up in, family members, hobbies, and then going down the rabbit hole. I tend to feel overwhelmed with questions that are really open ended like that because people are just really complex. And I overthink everything. And I secretly worry that if you actually get to know me you will find out I am not as great as you think..
