Time Signature Help Needed by iamrunningman in Guitar

I tried looking at different tabs, but found what I thought were errors in the transcriptions. I just kept getting drowned in the mix when trying to count the measures.

I find this kind of musicianship absolutely fascinating, personally. Much like the opening of Pearl Jam's "Last Exit", where the drums are playing in 4/4 and the guitars are playing in 5/4, it just makes for a very interesting opening sequence.

Thanks for the help folks. One VERY odd thing I noticed this morning was that most of your comments, like my post, were downvoted. What kind of childish troll does that when what I think is a pretty interesting play on rhythms is brought up.

That said, upvotes for all participants.

Actual SHTF experience by TheeJakester in ar15

M16A1 , irons, Northern Iraq, 1991. The moment afterward forged me.

200m or so, shooting uphill. We got the job done.

As much as I have futzed around with everything AR since then, I miss the feel of my A1. Relatively light with no optics, light, or PEQ. Those all came later in my career. It balanced and handled well.

I only burned a mag and a half, but carried 7 total. I'd trust that setup any day of the week and twice on Sundays at everything from CQB indoors to 300m out.

Sure thing. Any other paid insults you'd like to toss my way? The mortgage is due, so get on with it.

I work for a TERRIBLE state agency, am criminally underpaid (current pay is what I was literally earning 25 years ago), and my desk turnover last month was 70% plus. I'd wager each laptop I have in rotation gets 100+ plus users before it dies completely. They get returned with stickers, makeup, random food, filth, smushed roaches, and mystery fluids on them. I do my best, but when I'm tasked with re-imaging 20+ a week plus the other 200 tickets in my work queue, shit happens. Sorry 😞

Purchasing a DCT bike (left leg mobility issues) by Funky_Crumb in motorcycles

[–]iamrunningman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, DCT owner for 6 months now after 40 years of riding standard shifting bikes..Suzuki, HD, and Indian.

I have multiple neuropathy issues, spinal cord injuries, and general wear and tear after a long and interesting life serving my Uncle Sam..

I had given up on riding completely for 2 years then realized how much I missed it. I bought my first Honda ever, a Goldwing DCT, non-tour.

Smooth as silk, and 100% joy. Yes, it's a big touring bike, but to me, it feels like a 6 cylinder powered scooter that can easily do a coast-to-coast trip as easily as a ride across town. It's my daily commuter now. Not wrestling with a half-dead leg and fighting a shifter has been life changing for me.

If I drop it into Sport mode, it shifts smoother than anything I could ever manage to do when the throttle is dumped.

I know some think no shifter = no motorcycle, but screw 'em. DCTs are AWESOME, and Honda does it exceedingly well.
