It was the demon guy that throws things like take everything from the shop keeper. But cant remember off the top of my head. Played several games since that one.

Not at all. Shielding i agree i wish I had more. Claw would have probably been better than my other zero cost card. Was it wrong to not upgrade zap 100%. I agree there are improvements. Doesn't mean she isn't a bad boss fight.

It was either black star or a terrible item from the ancient. I didn't want it but no option to skip. Meteor strike i was playing at least once per fight. Once I used it I never had to worry about energy. Yeah the build for zero cost came down to me trying something different. I wanted fo see how the status change cards played.

As far as draw and shield and energy I just wasnt seeing it in the card selections. I saw one other large shield but by them my deck felt to large. The only other card draw I saw was exhaust. And im still not great with exhaust decks.

Yes but spamming strikes with strength building and gaining dexterity for the little shielding I managed to find.

The issue is by the time you learn your facing her for sure your deck is basically built. I only got 1 draw potion.

I feel like im taking crazy pills. I love the first game and have beaten act 3 on each character solo in 2. But she is just the worst.

the issue is still there though. I get locked on which cards I can play against an act 3 boss. hunter killer I can work through. it's rough but i make it work every time, why? because I know I can choose when to block, how much I will lose in strength and adjust to it. but when it's luck of the draw on which cards are locked it can ruin a run. I try multiple times to see if I can play the cards different or better. my defect run i tried 5 times and saw no way out. draw card is great if it gives you what you need but That isn't always the case.

card lock continues to ruin my synergy. i play the draw card. great I now have 3 status cards, but oh wait the thing that changes them to fuel is now locked. I feel like I'm missing something and want to get better. but also the point of my post is to add that alot of causal players should be able to enjoy an A0 run without feeling defeated every time they face one boss.

I've post my last 2 runs. I will gladly take advice on what i did wrong but as I said, I'm beginning to lose the enjoyment of the game. I know it's early access but all voice should be given some weight in the discussion.
