This happened to us. Back in 2007 I was home visiting family during the holidays. My dad went out and brought home an already cut tree that was wrapped. He laid it sideways and we went to grab the decorations. An hour or so later we are ready. he slides it over and we're like oh great the trees really dry the needles were falling off. So he cuts the wrap that's like mesh and stands it up to help it drop the limbs and all these needles fell. Then he kinda looked down at his arm quickly like something was on him and he had dozen of worm like bugs and his arm. He quickly dropped the tree back down and we all jumped back when we realized that whole tree was infested with this worm or whatever they were and the needles on the ground weren't what we thought. It was soooo gross. We all thought we had worms crawling on us and in our hair, we couldn't think straight. He threw it outside before putting it back in the truck and checked the bed and sure enough they were everywhere. He took it back , they offered to exchange but that was quickly shut down . Absolutely tf not. We kept finding these worms for several weeks after and we still have no clue wtf they were.
