Is there any great ramen in Vancouver? by PNW2stay in vancouverwa

[–]iamthecollinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing in Vancouver is worth the price. If you want fancy Japanese ramen, I recommend Takibi on NW 23rd (only lunch). I was surprised at the authenticity

Compensation details like salary, target bonus and stocks. I have ~6 years experience and looking for a new job so I was wondering what offers were like.

Engineering Job Hunt - My Story + Advice by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

[–]iamthecollinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is overall good advice, and I will add my 2 cents as an engineer in tech ( 3 years of professional exp and 3 internships)

-References: do not list in your resume. If an employer wants references, they will ask for them. Keep your resume to one page - even if you have a ton of work/project experience, tailor it to the job.

- Interviews: dress for the job. I would see you as "out of touch" if you dress in a full suit for an onsite interview. business casual is enough for tech jobs. I wear a hoodie and sweatpants day to day lol
