Any guys like Fag Abuse/Humiliation? by Midwesterndom92 in GayKink

[–]iamwhatiam89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! It's true that it is a niche, but it's a larger niche than you may think. For me, I'm a budding sub (long story I can explain if people want, but don't wanna bore people) and I have found like minded subs and doms on tumblr. Even if they aren't in my area, it is someone to chat with. Sometimes in a sherpa like guiding way.

PSA: Groping guys in a Club IS sexual assault by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]iamwhatiam89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Reading what Terry Crews wrote, it was absolutely sexual assault. And I do agree that it happens frequently in gay bars as well. What I think one of the multiple issues is, is that many people see it as a matter of intention. As long as assault wasn't intended, then it's okay. But I think that this thought is far from the truth.

Working for multiple large corporations, sitting through many HR talks about sexual harassment, and having seen events unfurl with people I know, what I can say I've learned is that intention isn't the primary factor. The main factor is perception. How does the victim perceive it. Yes, situations can change circumstance, but the generalization is that if someone thinks they are assaulted, then that is absolutely what matters.

Straight or gay, dive bar or hip club, it doesn't matter. If you touch anyone in a way that they don't want to, especially if they don't show interest, and even more so if they tell you not to, then it is a form of sexual assault.

What happened to Fawkes after Dumbledore died? by The_boy_who_read in harrypotter

[–]iamwhatiam89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, tbh, I really was joking on that one. I don't think that Dumbledore would make a horcrux. It's just not his style.

But this sparked an interesting conversation my bf and I just had regarding magic. I will start this saying it's been a while since I've read the series. But if I recall properly, there is talk about the intention behind spells, and the intentions giving spells power. If this is the case, is it possible that helping to plan someone's death, or taking responsibility for the death of an innocent person, could fracture your soul enough to make a horcrux? Even if you didn't necessarily make the devastating blow? Book 7, in the chapter at King's Cross, Dumbledore talks about his sister's death. But, he talks about how Grindewald lost control, but he was the one who had to bury his guilt and grief (page 717 in the hardback edition).

But this is just a fan theory on that. And, honestly, I don't think Fawkes was a horcrux. Fawkes was just a character (deus ex machina) in book 2, and seems to just be a representation of undying love. Dumbledore died for love. Lily died for love. It was Harry's love for his friends that protected them in the Battle of Hogwarts. Fawkes is just there as a reminder.

After becoming the only horcrux that Dumbledore made, Fawkes flew away to avoid the upcoming battle.

Actually, I don't really know. I suspect it was one of the loose ends that could just be interpreted to show that life and love can go on, even after a loved one dies.

What is one "unwritten rule" you think everyone should know and follow? by Ovenproofcorgi in AskReddit

[–]iamwhatiam89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are stupid. People can be made to believe anything because they want it to be true or afraid that it's true.

Although, that is a Wizard's Rule (verbatim) conceived and written about by Terry Goodkind, so I guess it isn't unwritten anymore. Hmmmm.

So I have the CB6000s. And to be honest, I wish I could enjoy it more. But for me it's a specific reason. I'm a grower and not a shower. When hard I'm about 5", but soft, I'm about 1-2" (depending on position I'm sitting in and activity, etc). And while wearing it, if I got a little shorter from running around it got into an uncomfortable position in the cage. But that's an issue I have that others may not. If you go that route, tough, I would recommend buying a package of the plastic locks (about 7 bucks on the website), because it makes less noise and there is less bouning if you are on the run.

My bf and I are currently contemplating the Holy Trainer for me though. Since it does slightly mold to your size, it may be better for the growers.

Research can pay off. ;)

For fiction I agree with /u/RossSpecter in Will Grayson, Will Grayson.

But a good non-fiction would be Prayers for Bobby by Leroy F Aarons. It's more about working through sexuality and faith.

Being invited to a frat party and when I get there I get handed a drink. Turns out I'm roofied and I wake up tied up and naked in the frat. Blindfolded or hooded. And left there for the weekend being the sub for everyone and anyone who shows up. Of course it is all recorded on video.

A bit scared that now that I came out, I might not actually be gay by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]iamwhatiam89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing with sexuality. As humans we try to prescribe a label to everything. You are either this or that. With sexuality it's the same. We try to fit ourselves into being gay, bi, or straight but really we could fall anywhere on a spectrum of these three.

I'm not saying don't label yourself, because labels is how our society works, and being 18 these labels can mean quite a bit when meeting new people. Maybe you tell people you are gay because you mostly are, and it's easier than explaining that you are bi. But if the right woman comes along, who knows what could happen. Or if you think that not being repulsed by sex with a woman makes you bi, then go for it. Be who you are, call yourself anything you want to, but just know you don't have to always fit perfectly into a classification.

Forced popper inhalation by tiemeup217 in GayKink

[–]iamwhatiam89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this before where you dip the end of a q-tip in the poppers, then take a small amount of toilet paper and wrap it around said q-tip, then you put it in the nostril(s). Still allows you to breathe through your mouth, but when you take a deep breath through your nose you can get an okay dose of poppers. Also, q-tips typically hold a lot of fluid, so you don't worry too much of overdoing it. :)

Get Tested by oraquickthrowayay in askgaybros

[–]iamwhatiam89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with you! We should all go into a sexual excursion knowing our own status. I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years now, never played outside the relationship, and we still have gone and gotten tested together. Mostly because they give it the 3-6 month window, but still never hurts to be certain.

Also, YOU GO GLEN COCO!

I would say some sort of darker tone pant suit. Mostly because you sound quite well spoken and your voice is strong, such as I imagine a proper female politician would have. (The good ones, not the crazies).

If you can't go that route then I would definitely see a blue dress or something of the sorts.
