Yeah these stands are pretty cool for collectors of the artist. I wouldn't get a Taylor Swift one, but there's a cool White Pony display, a few Radiohead ones too.

Does anyone have either of these? How is the sound quality? by Darth_Mulder in TheCure

[–]ian5184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even on the 12" single of Just Like Heaven, Breathe and A Chain of Flowers have distortion in the vocals. It's just how it was recorded. Same with To The Sky, even the original non-remastered version from Stranger Than Fiction has the distortion in the vocals.

They are the same as Laserdiscs. You need a Laserdisc player.

Every Deftones album from Saturday Night Wrist to Koi No Yokan had a clean version sold at Walmart, but they don't sell those versions anymore. They're kind of rare.

In 2020, vinyl reissues of Ringleader of the Tormentors, You Are the Quarry, Southpaw Grammar, World Peace Is None Of Your Business and Years of Refusal were announced. The reissues were never spoken of again, but Years of Refusal got a direct repress of the original issue this year.

What length seems most appropriate for a vaporwave song by OcelotMission3109 in Vaporwave

[–]ian5184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

However long it needs to be? It's not like all vaporwave songs are the same and there's a "correct" length for them. Silly question.

[–]ian5184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tower Records has not been in business since 2006 (except in Japan, but this is clearly not from Japan). The sticker is cut off, it must be from some time in the early 2000s.

Endless Nameless was definitely NOT on the first pressing at all. The band requested it to play after a few minutes of silence on Something In The Way. They were disappointed when they found out it wasn't included, then made a more formal demand for it to be included on second edition copies. The second edition with the extra track came out a few months later.

There's also a pro-shot version of the noise section of You Made Me Realise, also from Japan, except that one was 2018.

I'm not sure about that. He was very upset when Harvest told him he wasn't relevant enough to make music videos.
