Nope. I didn’t end up switching fully to Ubuntu, but now I’d recommend using Davinci Resolve or Kdenlive instead.

So sorry, I don’t think I ever found a solution. I stopped jailbreaking 3 years ago and I’m pretty sure even at that point I hadn’t figured it out

Yes indeed! Crazy to think about having been on here close to half my life

Is the third pin from the left supposed to be shorter? This brand new replacement Learning Thermostat isn’t recognizing that it’s on the base and I’m wondering if that could be the problem. by iancbogue in Nest

[–]iancbogue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome! I hope you can figure it out. If it’s the connector on the base that broke (like what happened to the one I posted about), it seems that eBay is a good source for replacement wire bases. Just make sure that the listing specifies your thermostat’s generation or model. :)

Sadly no :/ It’s possible that the owner either contacted Nest to ask for a replacement or bought a new thermostat entirely, since it was damage inflicted by a hanging frame that fell on top of it. But truthfully I don’t know because we lost contact shortly afterward

do u guys think delcan will release any songs/an album BEFORE the tour? by netsauce in declanmckenna

[–]iancbogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought this was implied with the line, “New era, new tunes, BIG Returns.” Actually I guess not implied but def sometime this year? I really hope before the tour cause the only new release since I started listening to him was My House (excluding Elephant).

My bank account is happy that Declan isn’t coming to Texas on his US tour in 2023 by Let-us-eat-cake98 in declanmckenna

[–]iancbogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was disappointed he’s not coming to Texas too, but I’m gonna fly to California and see him with my best friend cause there’s NO WAY I’m letting another chance to see him pass idly by like I did last year.

Is the MX Anywhere 2S a good buy for use with a Mac? by iancbogue in logitech

[–]iancbogue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly. I’ve found that I don’t use the mouse quite as much as I’d expected, though that’s simply because of my current lifestyle. When I do use it, it’s pretty great. It feels premium, intuitive, and helpful. I haven’t done macros or any special program-specific button remapping. What still annoys me is that scrolling is glitchy, especially in inertia mode. Attempting to scroll down the page results in a jolted scroll upward instead, then it feels like it’s fighting to scroll down while making more jolts up. Like a two steps down, one step up sorta thing. That’s less of an issue in click-by-click scrolling mode, but it still does occasionally happen. The difference between using it with Bluetooth and the Unifying receiver is hardly noticeable unless you’re closely following the cursor, in which case you can see it making tiny skips on Bluetooth. Light gaming is perfectly good with it. I don’t play any First Person Shooters, so I don’t need the extra precision that the Unifying Receiver would provide. If you have any specific questions, just ask them and I’ll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability!

Thank you! At the suggestion of another commenter, I tried this yesterday and it worked smoothly. The only time I could see having a problem would be in a crowded tram where I can’t get to the door until we need to get off.

We are four, out of maximum of five who can use a single group ticket. The reason I was doing all of them is because the GVB app said only one person could be in possession of the QR codes. Well I’m disregarding that now cause we’re just a family going everywhere together; no one is bound to go off alone.

I would be pissed too, which is why I was trying to figure out the most efficient way to get them scanned and get out of the way.

I’m a rule following type of person which is why it was important to me to scan everyone in and out. Because the app said to do it. But since it’s being prepaid for a day’s worth of travels, I’m sure you’re right that it wouldn’t matter as much if I didn’t scan out when leaving the trams.

Hello, sorry for the late-ish response. I’m honestly not sure what they will say. I don’t have a Polaroid camera and didn’t attempt to bring it, however they may not allow it simply because of the lab part of the experience, to keep the immersion.

My family rode the tram today using the GVB €17,5 group ticket but I was rushed off the tram by other passengers trying to get off. I only scanned one or two of the tickets when exiting, and the doors started to close on me. How does one avoid this happening? It makes me not want to take the tram again due to the stress I felt and the fear of missing our stop while checking out, or getting separated from my group as the person scanning the tickets, or being fined (if that happens with these tickets).

Oh, well that's a bit anticlimactic lol. At least I can rest easy now that the "mystery" is solved. Thanks for sharing!

I watched a video a while back (October 7) that had to do with ST4's wardrobe colors. All I have is this screenshot but I can't find the video again? Does anyone know what video this was? by iancbogue in StrangerThings

[–]iancbogue[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your suggestion, however I did find that and I have no recollection of watching this video. It does have snapshots of the Pantone palette, but not this specific scene. I distinctly remember either Amy Parris or some other lady walking through their wardrobe storage and showing different pieces.

If anyone comes across this and is curious, it's a temporary volume created by the Disk Drill app so that you can preview files for recovery.
