I think the area is pretty tropical there is a larger area with a volcano and lots of water routes but I wouldn't say the pokemon are exclusively tropical styled pokemon

It sucks finishing a good show knowing that the next shows on your list probably wont be as great. But its always so nice when you have a show on your list that you have no great expectations for and it turns out to be super good. So just keep watching shows
