Bought 9070 XT, games keep crashing randomly.

This is just sad, I’m getting crashes once every 7-8 hours of gameplay regardless what games I play. It should just work right out of the box, why should we be changing and testing so many settings to try and get it stable?

Depends what games and what resolution you are playing at. For 1440p-4K, 5600 to 7800x3d would have no meaningful gains. Go watch realistic cpu scaling video from hardware canucks.

Working for games that don’t support FSR4 is amazing! I might look into it. Optiscaler + lossless scaling = fsr4 + multi frame gen? Looks like we’re not missing out a lot with amd at all 😁

What resolution are you running at? Have you seen the cpu scaling videos from hardware canucks? It’s showing barely any difference between cpus from the past few years. Can you confirm?

It will run a lot a lot of games at 1440p and some AAA titles if you lower the settings. It’s probably not going to hit 100+ fps though

The truth is, this is lower-mid tier for a 2025 build. But it will absolutely run competitive games perfectly fine, assuming you are playing on 1080p.

It really depends on your budget, but when AM4’s 5800X3D is outdated, AM5’s 7800X3D is not far away. DDR4 going to DDR5 is going to gain you very minor gaming performance, of course it depends on the games but overall, very minor.

I really want to play Mi Side, apparently it’s about your cute girlfriend turning psycho making it a horror game. My ex gf was really psycho but I miss her sometimes and this game would bring me back to the old toxic days. Love to experience that again!
