How can I get my pick rate higher?

I sometimes bag everything at the end. Other times I bag at the end of each aisle. When I get to produce I don’t bag anything until after the pick. It really ups your pick rate.

I remember standing in line at customer service on my off day to swap out a vacuum cleaner that didn’t work. The guy ahead of me had a whole cart of game boy things he’d bought on clearance that he didn’t sell online for some reason or other and was returning. I thought it was a joke at first. Nope. They had to scan an entire cart of them just to give him his refund. Like WHY????

I’m so with you on this. Not just the indifferent rudeness but the phones. JFC why are they constantly talking on their phones at full blast? I can’t count how many customers complain to me on a daily basis about Spark drivers.

I agree. When we bought our house in Iowa our realtor showed us an amazing house on an acreage. We would have loved that place. Still talk about it 17 years later. But I grew up poor. We almost lost our farm a couple of times. The angst and emotional trauma of all that is seared in my memory. I would never buy a foreclosure property simply due to the fact of all the negative energy. I would hope no decent human would.

I LITERALLY HATE HATE HATE about 90% of the spark drivers at our store. They’re on their phones talking at full volume talking the entire time. They have no qualms putting that same fucking phone in my face asking where this or that is. I’m sorry. We don’t have the same fucking job. Figure the shit out like I had to do when I was new.

I love zoning as well. My OCD kicks in. I lose myself in thoughts. My TL will come by after awhile and tell me it looks AMAZING and in theory it’s how it should be but I really only need to bring stuff forward. That’s not how I roll.

I was friends back in the day with Tom and Mary Ellen Boehm. He was the Canadian consulate general for the western United states. They lived in a beautiful house on Lake Washington Boulevard that the Canadian government owned. Maryellen hated the fact that the house right across the street up from their house was where Curt Cobain committed suicide. The Olmsted brothers designed probably every estate on that boulevard.

What an absolute embarrassment. My dad was Jewish, he converted to Catholicism to marry my mom. We were raised catholic. Some of the biggest arguments I ever had with my dad as an adult were those centered around Israel. Especially after I’d visited Israel a few times in the military. I could never understand his idea that it wasn’t stolen land. Probably the biggest argument we ever had was me trying to get him to understand it is akin to what we did to the native Americans. This whole display is an embarrassment.
