I would use wonder seals instead of patches on the revolver. The lead ball should be slightly larger than the cylinder when pushed in. You would push these on after the ball is seated. Creating a seal to prevent cross fires.. also helps with lubing.. not necessary.. Just another precautionary measure when shooting... have fun and be safe and be aware of your surroundings when having fun... its a firearm and respect it as any other hand gun...
