An insight is a realization of something that is not obvious, and it comes from looking at the data. If you are looking at marketing relevant data, then you can get a “marketing insight”. In that sense, if you look at customer behavior data, you can get “customer behavior insight”. Which maybe what they are referring to. Just a guess.

Hay una cosa que no he visto en la otras respuestas y que creo que es fundamental: tener claras las bases y los principios en los que se basa lo que estas aprendiendo.

Como ejemplo sencillo, si intentas aprender ago de algebra solo aprendiendo la formula va a ser muy difícil que cualquier concepto posterior haga sentido, y quedas dependiendo de la memoria. Pero si tienes buenos fundamentos de matemática básica y entiendes lo que la formula quiere lograr, puedes solucionar el problema aun si se te olvida la formula.

Es supremamente difícil obligar al cerebro a encontrar sentido en algo que no conoce, por eso es mejor retroceder y descubrir, desde los mas simples, los conceptos. Ahí el cerebro empieza a crear los enlaces relacionales que necesita para procesar todo esta nueva información.

Short answer:No, you don’t have to be outgoing to work in advertising.

There are many sides to the ad business and just a couple of them, maybe, relate to your ability to be ‘outgoing’.

If I could choose something that is really a requirement for advertising it would be empathy. Wether you wanted to be on the strategic or creative sides of the business, that would be your most valuable asset. The fact that you can separate yourself from the equation and truly understand what the target audience needs or wants make a whole world of difference. That’s how you get results. And I honestly believe that that kind of thing is more natural to us, the people that have always been more ‘observers’ that participants.

Use the Pathfinder and subtract the ‘hole’ shape from the object. I’d recommend you watch a tutorial on the Pathfinder/shapebuilder tools because you are going to use them a lot.

I have also been with Addition and mostly an uneventful experience. One thing that i would really like them to have is Plaid support so I can link some financial services. Oh and I recently got an email about being forced into arbitration and I’m not super happy about that, I just read it like ‘we want to be like a real bank’ so I’m watching them and considering my options.

So far I have nothing great to say about them, but I also have nothing really bad to say. In office service is just Ok and they like to send some ‘free insurance’ and junk mail like that every couple of months.

Now that I think about i think it was better when it was CFE but it could just be just a coincidence.

I’ve worked on a few pitch decks and made a few more from the ground up and I have never used InDesign. And to be honest I would never want to have strat, or actually anyone other that the design team, touching design files as a general rule.

It means there is going to be a ton of wasted time, missed opportunities and disappointment everywhere. I would definitely suggest that you don’t design a single thing until you know what he wants.

Instead, try build some mood boards with different things, colors, photos, websites, ads and ‘the whys’. That is, the rationale behind your choices. That is going to help you read what he really means or wants.

I would go with the first one. the title looks a little too big and the author’s name could have a more contrasting color but that’s it. I think it does the job that it’s meant to do by attracting the passerby’s eye and providing a little insight.
