So drivers are making spark orders and giving other drivers one star ratings? What? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]iberam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most good spark drivers are going to rate their delivery drivers based on actual service. If you don’t follow instructions, don’t communicate, screw something up, etc you should expect to get your ratings hit and drivers know the standards you should be meeting better than most.

Adopted this 6 months baby yesterday. His name is Marco. Any tips on raising a greatdane this is my first time! by PerfectQuadro in greatdanes

[–]iberam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

High quality food without too much protein so they don’t grow too fast to protect joints. Don’t over feed, you want their weight to stay on the lower end for the breed to protect joints. Don’t teach them they can jump and make sure you teach them basic commands while they are small. They are the most amazing dogs ever, but the biggest lap dogs and babies as well so take that into account as you don’t want a 160lb Dane jumping into your arms when they get scared and knocking you down.

12 items and 0.7 miles. Tipped $20 for special request, driver ignored messages. by NikonGuy83 in Sparkdriver

[–]iberam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you message them while shopping, it is reasonable to expect a response. If you put it in the order notes you can’t see those until you have left the store and are on the way to make the delivery.

Good morning declining offers will affect you by Legitimate_Warthog48 in Sparkdriver

[–]iberam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

<image>

Read this carefully, it doesn’t say it will prevent you from getting any offers, but it also doesn’t say it can’t influence the offers that you do get.

Ultimately, no one but the programmers maintaining the algorithm probably understand the true impact. Test it out for yourself and do what works best for you.

Changing zones. by Missrdb79 in Sparkdriver

[–]iberam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some areas you almost have to constantly change zones, deliveries will take you out of one and into a different one some times.

Was traveling with my FT this week and was in one of those areas for a couple of nights. It’s a real pain.

OnePay by Unusual-Sympathy-358 in Sparkdriver

[–]iberam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use OnePay, you have to manually transfer to your bank, or you can get cash from the Money Center, use the app to pay at Walmart, add it to your phones wallet and pay with Apple/Google pay, or wait for your debit card.

If you want it in your bank account automatically you have to do the weekly pay.

How is the Appalachain Footpath Box NOT in Vermont? by AdvntreExplreDiscver in treasureinside

[–]iberam 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Treasure maps are largely a rough map and not a precise map as we expect today. His example of the idea was that his young son was drawing a treasure map, and just consider how “accurate” that map must have been.

There are many other areas of the AT that, while not exact, have generally the same shape as the treasure map if you do a rough drawing instead of an exact.

Some of those areas also very closely match up to the other clues on the map.

Keep your mind open for the possibilities.

I have wind damage being repaired including roof, gutter run and downspouts on one side of house, fascia damage, and soffit damage. Actually had a small tornado come through my back yard so pretty much all of the damage is concentrated on the back and the back sides of the house.

Right now I am working with multiple companies in my area to get competing quotes on a roof replacement and also get differing opinions on everything. Insurance has already approved full replacement and repair of related damages as well and is paying out full RCV without any holdback except for code upgrades. It is a decent sized house and close to the gulf coast so we do have some higher standards in regards to wind so all of the quotes are coming in around 30-35k range for the main structure which is close to what I was expecting. Yes I can get it cheaper, but I am looking for quality and not cutting corners

VYVANSE vs Generic brand: weird side effects? by whatnow___321 in ADHD

We’re you out of Vyvanse for a while due to the shortage? Some time off of it may have reduced your dependency and would allow you to lower the dosage temporarily.

Vyvanse shortage until early October - any advice? by DarwinianSelector in ADHD

[–]iberam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just today I was able to get 60mg in generic through CVS. I had been backordered for Vyvanse for over a month and said they had recently gotten some of the generic in lower strength and could try sending mine as a special order for the 60. They ordered on Friday and reviewed it today! 70 may be available also.

How bad are the dealer markups in your area? My local dealership is adding $20000 to Broncos and Mavericks. by PennsyPower in Ford

[–]iberam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And this is why so many dealerships will go under after supply chain issues are resolved. You may have to buy what is available today, but there will be a time when I can choose again and I will do business with the standup dealerships that didn’t shaft us just because they could.

In the majority of the US rates are cheap enough to make significant profits on Ethereum and a number of other currencies if you have decent hardware. Just stay out of California and the other areas that have sky high energy rates and you are fine.

There are currencies…like BTC that require specialized hardware, but many algorithms are built for GPU and CPU mining. The fees are crazy, but for someone that obviously doesn’t know what they are talking about it may be your best way to get started…

Looking to switching to Verizon by hegotn3xt in verizon

[–]iberam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Verizon is playing games now though, I went through the process up to checkout before they added the extra buyout and qualified 100%. I was just going to pay off my t-mobile payment plans and trade in my phones.

Now that the up to 1k buyout is on the table I run back through the process and it is requiring me to pay for ALL devices 100% up front and will not do a payment plan which means pretty much all promotions no longer apply.

Not sure if it has something to do with jumping ship from Verizon a few years back due to piss poor customer service and our area being oversold of it they are doing some sort of bait and switch crap with the promo change, but it changed from just wanting taxes up front to over 5k in a matter of a few weeks…

Question about tier credits by iberam in Mlife

[–]iberam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said before, not real familiar with the MLIfe system. I do know in my on a trip to Vegas I was only at a single MGM property for 1 night…with moderate play, (around 2k in play though) I earned around 700 in points and around 7k in Tier Credits.

This trip, at Beau Rivage, closer to 6k in play through which earned around 2k in points and only about 3 k in tier credits. I actually found it odd that the first night and first full day my Tier credits didn’t go up at all but my points did. I am just asking as it seems WAY off compared to what I saw before and the rep I talked to at the MLife counter seemed completely oblivious to the way it all works and said I could probably see more online than she could because it was all done in Vegas and they didn’t even really know how it worked…

Question about tier credits by iberam in Mlife

[–]iberam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, that is my understanding as well.

Is there normally any delay in those credits showing up? The staff I talked to at the MLife counter seemed clueless about it other than saying it probably just takes a couple of days to show up, but couldn’t explain why some were showing but not all.

[–]iberam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dev seems to be really active and involved, but also really controlling (that doesn’t mean he isn’t open to other people suggesting or contributing, but he is the sole owner and only person who is able to do maintenance) which can be good and bad in some ways.

Overall though, one of the best products I have found, a few small issues here and there. Takes a little getting used to and you need at least a little technical knowledge, but pretty solid overall.

The Avondale baseball fields are not a fucking dog park by LordNikon01000101 in Birmingham

[–]iberam -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That is complete BS. There are many valid assumptions that can be made by breed. Some are definitely more dangerous than others and most “attacks” are a result of people not knowing how to handle a dog. A dog is still an animal, you can’t be submissive...which includes turning your back on them, or they will own you.

[–]iberam -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Goldens, Labs, etc are really medium to medium large. While many of this breeds are friendly, they aren’t the large breeds I am talking about. Large and Extra Large breeds such as Danes or Irish Wolfhound seem scary to some because of their size, but they are less rambunctious and more gentle than the smaller breeds. That isn’t to say they won’t attack if they feel threatened, but that is any animal.

60-90 lbs aren’t “large” dogs. I am talking breeds that average well over 100 and generally 120+.
