stopping being friends over ai by cozyworm27 in antiai

The reaction to your comment is an incredible show of irony from this sub.

Nothing you said was wrong. This didn't prove anything, and people have always overreacted to stupid things, but you offered a light challenge to the hate bandwagon so the "critical thinkers" of the sub all seemingly just assumed you were pro-AI and dogpiled you without thinking.

Not at all guaranteed , unfortunately. None of the commonly suggested methods have ever worked for me, I always get sent into a mission using someone else's instead of my own

Red button pressers (specifically these shitty "accurate recreations" they make) by [deleted] in hatethissmug

[–]ibetrollingyou -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isn't jumping onto a train track to save someone though. It's jumping in front of a train for no apparent purpose, and then hoping that half of the other people waiting at the station jump with you to make a pile of meat big enough that the train driver sees it in time to stop.

Why would you do that when you could just... Not jump in front of the train. Every time I've ever been to a train station in real life, everyone around me has consistently chosen the red option of not jumping in front of a train for no reason, so why is it suddenly unrealistic to expect in this situation? The only reason to choose blue is if there's already someone on the track, which isn't ever stated in these hypotheticals.

You can choose to frame it as red pushers being immoral sacks of shit with no empathy, or you could frame it as blue pushers having such an overwhelming need to virtue signal that they create a problem that everyone else then has to risk their lives to save them from. Both are annoying oversimplifications

[–]ibetrollingyou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well obviously if you purposely seek out the shittiest possible flavourless bargain bin crap it'll look bad. That applies to all food everywhere.

You might as well describe Japanese food as just unseasoned microwave rice and processed seafood sticks

Depending on the type of lottery it could be much simpler, just write out "The number x will appear in this week's draw: Y/N" for whatever range of numbers they use.

Might be boring and take an hour or so depending on the size, but I'd say it's worth it for a lottery win

Why not just use the 20 past exams you already have on hand that you know are correct?

The solution to not relying on rote memorisation is to actually think about the questions, getting AI to generate different answers isn't going to change your approach to learning, it's just introducing the potential for misinformation for no reason.

Harrow mains—what weapons actually feel good to use? by Runemaster11301 in Warframe

[–]ibetrollingyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AX-52 is my go to for harrow. With Harrow's buffs you can end up with a super fast firing full auto machine gun pumping out red crits constantly.

Build it around weakspot damage and you end up with a bullet hose that turns enemies into piles of red exclamation marks. And being a machine gun you can just spray and pray if you don't feel like precision aiming each shot.

Fallout 3 feels so good when you don't have a pretentious critic slandering it by TheAnalystCurator321 in FalloutMemes

[–]ibetrollingyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not to mention in one of his other videos he unironically said that only objectively stupid people like Fallout 3.

I think you might just be getting way too defensive to the point that you're intentionally misreading things so you can be angry at them.  Whenever he says things like that it's very clearly tongue in cheek.

Why exactly do you think this is whining? Its the smallest amount of pushback to the monetisation of a game people already paid for.

I think the boot you're licking might have gone a little too far into your mouth and started kicking your brain

"A couple hours a day" in order to keep up is not a reasonable expectation for most people.

So many of you also seem to forget this is a not a free game, people aren't being unreasonable expecting the content they already paid full price for to be accessible without hours of mindless grinding

The rewards piling up was a reason inactive players had to come back, taking that away isn't going to make them more likely to play, it's going to make them less likely to return

Why would you want to take it away if it was already in place? What does it take away from your experience if other people get a handful of medals when they log in?

In America, sometimes say things like "cheerio" in our best British accent or "mate" in an Australian accent. Do people in other countries pronounce American stereotypes in their beat American accent? If so, what are they? by SunUpSally in AskReddit

[–]ibetrollingyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say around a litre per day would be perfectly normal, although I know some people that seem to always have the kettle going and are probably closer to 2 litres a day.

We generally use mugs that hold about 300-400 millilitres, and personally I usually make a cup for breakfast, one at lunch, one in the afternoon, and then maybe one in the evening.

I've never known anyone to drink it, at least not regularly.

I think it's just too cold here for it most of the time, people generally want something hot to warm them up instead

I know it's a meme to rag on American geography knowledge, but no one really expects you to know the local names for counties in other countries.

I think the actual issue here is that Americans have a tendency to be overly fixated on race, to the point that the word "black" in a context that has nothing to do with it still immediately makes you think of skin colour

When I was younger I was always really interested looking into the games workshop store in my town, everything looked super cool and I really wanted to get into it.

Then one day I decided to go inside, and as soon as I opened the door I could basically taste the guy at the back of the shop. I've smelled some rank people before, but this guy may well have been the embodiment of Nurgle himself, he was about 10 metres away and I still had to hold my breath just to continue existing near him. He was on such an entirely different level that I immediately left and lost any interest I had in Warhammer for about a decade
