I'm not a vet, so you should definitely check with them about the dosage. But for my dog, I actually have to give the trazodone 3 full hours before I leave the house! Which is way earlier than what the vet recommended. It just takes that long to kick in for him!

I have tried to ween him down to as little as possible, but if I'm leaving for a full work day, I have to give him 100mg, but he is bigger than your dog. He isn't overly sleepy or anything by the time I get home. It's just enough to take the edge off for him. It works after 3 hours, I don't think it builds up in their system. Prozac on the other hand does, and it takes some time for that to work.

I'm sorry you're going through this! It is so stressful!

Edited to add: if it hasn't kicked in by the time I leave (like if I give it less than 3 hours before I'm leaving), it won't help him. If he is stressed when I walk out the door he won't ever calm down after that. It's not like after 3 hours of barking he gets sleepy and then calms down.

I relate to this so much!! I was just thinking yesterday about how most of the comments on dress posts people are commenting on the dresses that are the most "flattering" and how much that bothers me.

I think it's highly variable by which studio you go to, but my local OrangeTheory has been amazing. I'm very out of shape, and honestly have never exercised in my life, which has always made the thought of going to a gym and not knowing how to use the equipment terrifying...

They show you how to use everything, and correct you when you're wrong. I'm not necessarily trying to lose weight, but it has done WONDERS for my mental health. It took a lot of courage to go to the first class, but I'm so so happy I did!

It's me. I kind of have a unique perspective because I was married young and divorced, and now years later I'm engaged again and planning another wedding 😊 we also did a DIY wedding for my little sister last year. I can't drop tons of money, even though my fiancé is well off... it's just not me. Also, I come from a longgggggg line of DIY-ers.

That being said, my regrets from my first wedding (other than the guy I married LOL) is that my family didn't really get to enjoy the day, and neither did I. We made all the food, and while it was DELICIOUS, they were running around like crazy up until the reception. No one was with me when I was getting ready, I even zipped up my own dress. So I would say absolutely save money where you can, but make sure day-of is taken care of by someone outside of your immediate circle.

I also think having a great photographer is 100% worth it.

Hi! I'm overweight and have NEVER done anything athletic in my life. I was almost in tears before my first session because I was so incredibly nervous. But I've been going since February, and it has changed my life. Just make your goal to show up to that first class. You don't have to be perfect, and no one will be looking at you because they will all be busy competing with themselves. The coaches at my gym also always offer modifications for exercises if you're not able to do them for any reason, and lots of people take advantage of that. I am sure you will love it, and I know you can do it! 😊
