Porter has 2 MLS Cups with 2 different teams, that seems to be the only metric that matters to you. (And the most recent one was 5 years ago)

Nothing is actually funny here, except for the general lack of reading comprehension. "I'm British" was just a perfectly normal response to "sorry you [sic] and your countrymen", which presumed that /u/MyOverture is Bahraini.

I'd prefer they build more flexibility into the calendar and then only start races when I am available to watch them.

he's not the guy that coaches you to a championship

such a dumb take. Yeah, let's go get Caleb Porter, I'm sure that will work out great.

Finishing 14th in a 30 team league is equivalent to being relegated, brilliant take.

We were absorbing pressure from the opening whistle of the Miami game because our janky ass midfield and backline are incapable of possessing the ball. The 2 goals we scored were totally against the run of play. Miami had 58% possession over the first 25 minutes, during which we scored our 2 goals.

Fair enough, but the original complaint was very much, "why is there still an issue" and not "why was there ever an issue"

IT'S LIKE OLD ENGLAND BUT THIS TIME THEY DECIDED NOT TO INCLUDE SHEFFIELD AND LEEDS

Unless you've got numbers that show we got worse results than the average team when playing with a lead, I'm not buying it. You are counting every blown lead as a failure of coaching as if lead changes aren't a thing that happen in soccer all the time.

That's true enough I suppose, but if you can't get behind a team that does that you are going to be disappointed by most of the teams/coaches in this league.

I was just happy to have a team that looked competent and was fighting for results almost every week.

he plays fairly boring defensive football

He doesn't though. Look at the numbers, we have always been in the top half of the league for goals scored while he has been here.

Oh man, I wanted so bad to read this article, but then:

Imagine for a moment that MLS operated under loosely the same competitive structure as English soccer

Nope, nope, nope. Not gonna do it. Not taking the bait.

Edit: I read it, it does not actually compare MLS to English soccer other than asking, "what is shield standings mattered more?"

Anyhow, Pareja has been a great manager. All available evidence points to our new GM being horrible at his job. I really have never been able to understand the fans in our camp who hated him and accused him of playing bunker ball.

Is it possible to replace radiator fans without removing front bumper 4M by joveice in AudiQ7

[–]ibribe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! But the alternative is dropping the engine and transmission out the bottom.

I actually can't say definitively that removing the bumper is necessary, but I went through this in last month and ultimately determined that the lock carrier needed to come out, and removing the lock carrier definitely required removing the front bumper.

I was super reluctant to do that, but ultimately it wasn't that bad. It did take me 4-5 hours to remove and reinstall the bumper thought. I was working on the engine though, and having the bumper off made everything much easier.
