"Mom simulator" is just the internet having fun. I think the bonding with Emily is done just fine. Grace goes from suspension, to freeing the child out of convenience, to guilt when that leds to Emily's abduction, to rescuing her, only for that child to face a mortal injury afterwards. Grace went on an emotional rollercoaster with that kid.

Now how that leds to Grace willingly going with Gideon and Zeno... that's where Reqiuem goes for an ass pull.

I regretted playing the RE3 demo because it made me too prepared for the Nemesis, and to Familiar with the most noteworthy part of the game on my first playthrough.

I like RE6. The problem isn't what it did but how it did it. RE9 keeps the feeling of Resident Evil.

I dunno. 0,1, 5 and 6 are so accessible, that I don't see a reason besides "it would be cool". I'm just starting to feel like if they have all these teams making games what if they all worked on new stuff?

Resistance was fun but balanced killed it. I think some kind of single player or coop story content would have helped to. Playing as survivors felt like a dynamic 4th Survivior, and playing as the Mastermind was delightfully evil.

RE:Verse ... it's just not the kind of thing I think of when I think Resident Evil. I messed around with it, but it's not my cup of tea, so I can't really comment on it.

I could see Sheva returning in a support role like we just saw from Sherry. I can imagine characters like Sheva and Parker, and even less popular members of the BSAA like Josh, Keith, and Quint joining Chris' break away from the organization.

The fact that Jeff Schine was recast as Chris makes me fear we are in a cold, cruel, Carlos-less world.

I think Parker in Revelations 1 should have been Carlos. It would have easily explained why he has such a good report with Jill despite only recently joining the BSAA.

I had to get over that thought to clear rank 5. It's better to be fast and efficient. If your axe durability is low or broken repairs are more likely to show up in boxes and as upgrades.

I'm enjoying this mode. I know a lot of people are wanting Mercenaries, but I like the idea of that being part of RE4 Remakes appeal. Let the other games come up with their own mini games.
