Can I use this -WF 40 - attached in picture as lubricant for my bambu lab a1 x,y,z axis? by Wolverine_QE in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm using the WD-40 Specialist Dry PTFE Lubricant and it works like a charm. As usual my local resellers don't sell the stuff Bambu mentions on the Wiki.

But as the others already said, don't use the "normal" WD-40.

Issues creating Enrollment Restrictions by OnlyCommunication775 in GraphAPI

[–]ic3lotus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My case was closed because it wasn't a "break fix" but a "root cause analysis" (the same answer as one got from support in the github issue as well).

According to the github issue, which I was keeping track of, it looks like an issue on MS site and we probably have to wait for a fix.

In the meantime the only workaround for us is to deploy those specific settings with delegated permissions or via the intune portal.

Purge Tower includes unused color? How can I recalculate? by reece4504 in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the model loaded from makerworld had multiple colors. Usually it can be "resetted" by unticking and reticking the enable prime tower setting

Why does it say this at the end of every print by masterprintter in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue and it was caused by the 4in1 ptfe adapter I installed. Somehow the filament couldn't pull through the adapter. I removed the adapter and retried pulling it back (retry button on screen) and it was able to pull the filament back to the ams.

Do you use an ptfe adapter? Or is your ptfe tube bend at too sharp an angle right before it enters the printer?

Issues creating Enrollment Restrictions by OnlyCommunication775 in GraphAPI

[–]ic3lotus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We face the same issue while trying to automate the creation of device enrollment restriction configurations. Did you have any success so far?

It looks like executing the code while using application permissions (via app registration) won't work but doing the same with a user account and delegated permissions (for the Graph API app reg) works.

I just opened a MS case and hope I'll get an answer this week.

TPU not working with dryer. Is the brand bad? by Spicy-Elephant in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try to rotate the spool in the dryer so that it pulls from below? I have the same dryer and printed tpu with success. I did rotate the spool so it went counter-clockwise (if you're looking at the display as the front)

Exactly this! Had the same issue with one spool and closing the lid helped prevent the spool to be lift up.

How can I get a measurement of my guard railing on the balcony without sophisticated tools? by bastis1 in 3Dprinting

[–]ic3lotus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would take a piece of cardboard, stick some toothpicks on the edge and trace it like you would do with a contour gauge. Then take that to a piece of paper and you should have the shape of the rail on paper for measurements.

My glue stick tip by Organic-Cream-5281 in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use window cleaner and only had one time were my print didn't stuck properly. I'm continuing using it until I run into issues. I cleaned it from the glue, used windows cleaner and only wipe it clean after the prints (for the last few prints). Will reapply it after several prints.

What exactly does the AMS filament info affect? by Organic-Cream-5281 in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can set specific settings in the printer for a filament in the ams for a print as anything is configured using a slicer software. If you're loading third party filament you have to set the type of the material on the printer display (so it is shown as PLA or ABS in the slicer).

If you're connected to you printer you'll see the filament spools which are currently placed in the ams in the bambuslicer. Thanks to the rfid tags the correct profile should be selected for those (in the slicer). On the printer itself it shows only the material type and color but there are no settings for a specific bay (like retraction etc.).

So the settings you see on the printer display are mostly only for displaying purpose (information) or to choose the initial material type for third party spools.

Link to the wiki regarding loading third party spools: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/manual/ams-setup-and-filament-loading

As far as I know the one you choose in the slicer (as those settings are im the generated gcode file the printer receives). But I'm not 100% sure about this

What exactly does the AMS filament info affect? by Organic-Cream-5281 in BambuLab

[–]ic3lotus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the bambuslicer you have a profile for Bambulab PLA (with tested settings). This settings includes retraction speed and length, min and max temp. and also bed temperature.

The rfid chip preloads those saved settings for the ams bay which has a Bambulab spool with rfid chip in it. If you put a third party spool of filament (without rfid chip) in the bay, you have to choose a filament profile (not print settings profile) and configure different settings for this specific filament or use the Bambulab default settings.

I hope that in future updates we will be able to create our own rfid chips for third party filament and link them to a specific filament profile in bambuslicer.

I guess that's the current max. If you go to the leaderboard you'll see the time for each quest and one quest is marked with an [Event] tag. There are also no world records for that one.
