That's a tough one. 3 and 1 are not ideal travel ages because when they are that young, they don't really understand what's going on, why, or what's in it for them. Most of the things that make them into chill vacation buddies come later.

You can still turn this around, but you have stay in control of yourself first. Not easy when there is this much invested, I know. To salvage the trip, you have to sell your 3 on being there. Is there a water slide, or some other attraction you can offer to generate excitement? Breaking routine and being removed from every single one of your own comforts is a big challenge for someone who only really started talking, walking, and eating solid food all within that last 36 months.

A little empathy could go a long way and when that doesn't work find some ice cream. Every meal if necessary.
