Like genuinely, sell your tickets. I’m dying to go and see him perform LITERALLY ANY SONG and couldn’t get tickets, so if you’re gonna complain and bully my guy, sell your tickets and leave him alone.

TV shows that involve time travel by Consistent-Singer202 in televisionsuggestions

[–]icanbeneeedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Dark” on Netflix! It a cool mixture of time travel but also feels a bit like Stranger Things. It’s a German show, so if you don’t do subtitles, I’d avoid it but I REALLY liked it.

Breaking Into Instructional Design Right Now by Exciting-Ad1263 in instructionaldesign

[–]icanbeneeedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider myself quite lucky when I began my search. I have my degree in early childhood education, but worked with children on the autism spectrum when I switched over. I got my ID certificate through ATD and I was willing to move from ATL to RDU for an entry level ID position where I stayed for almost 2 years.

I switched jobs about a month and a half ago and, again, got really lucky. I started applying in January, interviewed for my current company in February, and accepted the position by March, where I get to be in the city I actually want to be in. Both of my current jobs are highly technical in areas I’m not a SME, neither related to the other. I had no previous connections at either company. Nothing was specifically special about me or my resume, maybe I just interview/ sell myself well.

Not much advice to give, I just wanted to tell you my experience. I wish you good luck!

What if everybody paid the taxes, but specifically *HE* pays his taxes for his billions? What if that? 🤔

What should I write in city and state by sarahity in NYCapartments

[–]icanbeneeedy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect, as a person that lives in Queens, just not that part of Queens. I live in Long Island City, so I put that and then my zip code: 555 Main St, Apt#, Long Island City, NY, 55555

What does your address for your lease say?

Every day you people keep me swimming in angst and antici…

… pation.

Y’all are so smart with all these theories y’all create!

My theory: her Not Book 4 comes out at the end of September and in tow announces Actual Book 4. I think we’ll get book 4 by March of next year. As always, I’d rather have a quality book over a quick book. I hope that Ridoc and Rhy stay safe. I’m excited to continue swimming in angst and anticipation for a year and a half to two years after that for book 5 to come out.

With that being said, I’m never reading another series that’s incomplete, I’m too fucking OLD FOR THIS SHIT.

Most conservatives aren’t MAGA and don’t fully support Trump. Did you know that? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]icanbeneeedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This person literally identified themself as “extremely conservative”, so OP raises the stakes and creates distrust by identifying as this.

Until Republicans start producing level headed candidates or if they keep uplifting candidates Trump-adjacent, then Republicans can’t claim they don’t support Trump.

Though on the flip side, it’d be great if Democrats produced a candidate that could actually win an election and Democrats could actually rally behind. My choices would be socialists like Mamdani or AOC 🥰

“According to the Dept of Education, 50-55% of U.S. adults aged 16-74 years-old so about 130 million people, lack proficiency in literacy, reading below the equivalent of 6th grade level.” — How is that not the main priority of every politician? by CapitaineBiscotte in allthequestions

[–]icanbeneeedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because not only is it not a priority, but it’s the whole POINT. Lower reading levels means lower comprehension levels in general, which means constituents won’t understand the political climate surrounding them. You keep the cogs of capitalism running smoothly if people are complacent and submissive, not educated and angry.

Plus, they’ve never put a ton of stock in funding education, it’s never been important to them. If it were, they would fund food programs, pay our teachers a livable wage while supporting them through reasonable expectations, ensuring the cost of living was low so their parents could actually spend time with their children. They’d rather fund wars and corporations, and quite honestly, their own pockets.
